Re: Llama Llama Duck 2 - Game Thread - The Return of Insanity
*giggles and snorts*
Ah the VorteXer ability is just too much fun.
Shame I'll probably be voided the rest of the way in, but I had so much fun packed into that one day it was totally worth it.
Ahem. Guess I ought to explain.
I am not a seer/fool. I have no idea what Jontom's role is. You should NOT lynched him based on any of my scries. And yes, seers/fools should wait until they find a Llama or two and compare their roles with the actual result of the scries to determine whether they're fools or seers over lynch calling.
However, in this game, there's a new way of gaining information. I call it the bogus lynch. Simple method of directing people's attentions to someone with value and high publicity in these games (Jontom Xire), seeing who acts differently or especially eager about it (note this varies from person to person. For instance, Mustiado acted the way I'm used to Mustiado acting when he's on team good, so is low on my list of suspicions right now), making sure said person isn't actually killed (such as say... moving the points from JX to Talic), then building a case off of information gathered.
Anyhoo... hope you got some enjoyment out of that as well. That's the point of the game after all. I'll be here all night! (hopefully a few day/night phases more too). And yes, I do know I am a sneaky git.
Oh and Jontom, I actually wouldn't be surprised if there's an actual complete lack of masons in this game, considering what roles you can pick.

Re: Llama Llama Duck 2 - Game Thread - The Return of Insanity
I was torn between choosing Mason and leaving it to chance. So, after leaving it to chance, what do you think the odds are that I got Mason anyway?

It would be so funny if there was only one mason in the game. Congratulations, because of your choice, you are now a vanilla townie!

Actually I had my suspicions that Reinholdt was a VorteXer. It seemed too neat that I should be VorteXed on the day I was "scried" as a duck.

Re: Llama Llama Duck 2 - Game Thread - The Return of Insanity
I very much doubt the mason number is particularly small seeing as a lot of people who play these games really enjoy the behind the scenes play of being part of a network. What easier way to guarentee this than choosing mason!

No bidding today?
Night two in the Kingdom.....
Awakened by the chaos of last night, a few of the Llama's remain more watchful tonight. One of the llama gaurds was making his rounds when he heard a noise. He went to check it out. As he rounded the corner, he heard the sound of twigs snapping.
What the...
But before he could react, the ground fell out beneath him. The llama fell into a punji pit, left carefully by a master assassin.
As the master assassin saw his trap work, he smiled and got up from his hiding spot. He fell into the scope of another assassin.
This is as easy as shooting a baby.
BLAM
He didn't even hear the shot.
Elsewhere, a lone llama was enjoying breakfast. Sighing loudly, he found himself reminiscing of older times.
BLAM
The scene was horrible. Completely headless, the llama's arm twitched in horror as he was trying to take a bite of the pancake.
And deep in a hidden dungeon, the quacks were heard and heard loudly. They all agreed there was one person causing enough confusion to help hide them amongst the llamas. The problem was, they didn't agree on which person was the one. Soon, a few found consensus and agreed on their target.
He's lived too long.
He's talked too much.
He knows. HE KNOOOOOWS!
So the ducks went to the quarters of this Llama. They knocked on the door.
Who is it?
Uh...the plumber.
I didn't call for a plumber. The chamber pot is in perfect working order.
Er...uh...I mean CANDYGRAM!
Oooh. Candy!
So the llama opened the door, only to find a mob of webbed fiends awaiting him. They attack quickly and quietly, overcoming the llama with a feathery fore yet unseen.
When others arrived on the scene, they only found blood and the patter of webbed feet.
Summary!
Spoiler
Jontom Xire was attacked and killed by the ducks. Jontom Xire was a Vortexer for team Llama.
Dr. Bath was attacked by an assassin. Dr. Bath was a mason, and was on team Bunny.
GoC was attacked by an assassin. GoC was a mason, and was on team bunny.
Shadow was attacked by an assassin. Shadow was an assassin, and was on team duck.
Allysian & Mordokai are up for autolynch if they don't point today. Scry results to be sent out.
Night 2 ends. Day 3 Begins.

…
Shadow was a duck?
AN ASSASSIN DUCK?
oh bloody hell I'm glad he's dead.
In other news, I find it interesting that two members of the bunny mason team were killed in one night. Thoughts?Quote Of TheWeekWhenever I Feel Like Updating It (last updated 1/17/12)SpoilerOriginally Posted by Phase

Re: Llama Llama Duck 2 - Game Thread - The Return of Insanity
Okay, obviously I'm a Fool, and Murska is not a Llama after all, like I scried.
We were talking on msn, and he started acting very peculiar. First of all, we weren't even talking about werewolf, which was what made me suspicious. Then I said 'Ooh, pizza's here' and he said 'What kind?' and I said 'One pepperoni and one supreme'. And he said 'Normally I would be jealous, but we're going out to the Chinese all you can eat buffet later, and they have the best crispy duck.'
See what I mean? Obviously he's using this as code to try and network the ducks!!! Because I know he lives in Finland, and they don't even have Chinese restaurants there!Last edited by happyturtle; 2009-04-13 at 09:03 AM.

What?
That's just RIDICULOUS! I mean, it's not like I always talk about werewolf. And you never get pizza, I'm the one who eats pizza!
Besides, I never even mentioned any Chinese! You just fabricated this. See, here's the real conversation.

Re: Llama Llama Duck 2 - Game Thread - The Return of Insanity
You're lying again! I ran the numbers, if there are eighty-six roast-duck lovers and fifty nine stew-duck lovers, five assassins, ninety of them ducks, hundred and twelve villagers, divide by zero and add nine to the eighth, it clearly proves that by lynching you we win the game straight off!
I mean, see: (64/7^4x(Happyturtle=duck)*5%/53+23-98??G6H76/y(((Roast/Stew/87*6^2)+45)-91x)+2)*7
And then clean that up a bit: (Happyturtle=duck).
See?

Re: Llama Llama Duck 2 - Game Thread - The Return of Insanity
Lying? LYING?!!!
I make it a point of honour to never lie in these games. Unlike certain other people.
Besides, you used the wrong co-efficient.
(64/7^4x(Happyturtle=duck)*5%/53+23-98??G6H76/y(((Roast/Stew/87*6^2)+45)-91x)+2)*7
You misread your own handwriting. That 6 is supposed to be a 5, which makes the answer
Turtle = Stew
Which obviously proves that you're trying to kill me.My avatar! Isn't it just utterly diabolical? Ashen Lilies made it!

Re: Llama Llama Duck 2 - Game Thread - The Return of Insanity
IF I chose the lemon drop song to make a duck code, which I'm not admitting is the case, I ONLY did it to try and flush out some ducks in hopes they would confide their true role to me.
WHICH YOU DID!!!!
And now you're trying to backtrack and say it never happened. Nice try.My avatar! Isn't it just utterly diabolical? Ashen Lilies made it!

Yeah... And you're not even admitting. Llamas are always trustworthy and state everything cleanly. The kind of talk here, 'I might've theoretically done this in certain circumstances if the factors opposing such a course of action weren't too great' is DUCK SPEAK!
