Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
Not exactly, Arik wins by survival no matter what. Its only that he now don't count as a villager for the wolves victory condition.Avatar by Simius

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
I do lose a victory condition.
If Cessie and I both survive until the end of the game we both get an extra victory conditon. Which was why I was so willing to work with the villagers even after FC tried to get me lynched (idiot!). Cessie and I should really have been co-operating from as soon as we figured out who we each were, but because of the general distrust that FC generated that didn't happen. I didn't believe FC when he said Uncle Festy was Cessie and Uncle Festy probably didn't even know FC had given me his name and probably didn't trust me either.
So as a result we didn't work together, I didn't protect him as well as I should have, and the villagers lost out as a result. Strange how even after FC is dead he's cocking up the game for Team Villager.

Suppose I'll back JX too. That and I still owe Banjo a lynch or two.
EDIT: Actually, forget it. Lynching a neutral's a bit of waste. And I don't really know what Banjo would do as a neutral. I'll figure out who to point at later.Last edited by Aemoh; 2009-06-02 at 01:09 PM.

Mustiado has been laying low enough to come up for auto lynch repeatedly. That's extremely wolfy.
However, this may be our best chance to get recaiden.

Banjo1985
Because I'm following the bandwagon... I don't have enough information to do anything else.
I still think recaiden is a wolf... but we can kill him the next day, yes?

If Recaiden is a wolf, we can't point at him tomorrow because he'll be day baned again.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
Changing point to Recaiden to try save myself. Sure he's on my protect list, but if I'm dead I can't win.
Lynch me if you want to though, but I'm a relatively harmless neutral, and the only one that can void Jontom should he choose to side with the wolves, if he hasn't already. I have never had contact with the wolves in this game; end of story. If you don't believe me, fine.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
What the hell?
Are we seriously lynching one neutral party on the say so of the other neutral party?
I don't know if Jontom is on the wolves side or not, but lynching Banjo does nothing at all to help team good. What is he going to do, void the baner or the seer?
Where are the masons? Or are they happy to let Jontom lead the village? My avatar! Isn't it just utterly diabolical? Ashen Lilies made it!

Think lynching Recaiden's probably better than a neutral.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
Mino was praying inside the hall of masks that had been empty since the town wizard and unofficial mayor Jopo was said to have disappeared here somewhere. Mino knew exactly what had happened to the poor bastard, his mistress had taken him.
He felt her presence and knew before he looked up that the little girl was in the room.
"The guards will come now," he told her.
"I don't mind," she said, twirling in a ballet pose. "It's lonely here. I like it when people come."
"You should not have taken him. He was too prominent. Kuori will hear of it, and--"
"Kuori's Servant is dead."
"You know there is another. The Huntress."
Zubera crossed her arms and pouted. "You want to spoil all my fun."
"Indeed he does," a cold voice said. "I think it's playtime now, Zubera. Don't you?"
Zubera looked up and her face lit up in a smile. "Take off your mask!" she said happily to Arik.
"Of course. As long as Mino removes his mask as well," Arik said.
"He will," she said. "But you first."
Arik smiled and put his hand to his face. His human illusion dissolved, leaving behind his true lich form.
"You're a skellington!" she said, clapping her hands. "Now you, Mino!"
"As you wish, Mistress," Mino said with a bow. He had faced the Void before, and it held no further terrors for him.
But as he removed his face and felt his soul drawn towards the emptiness, he felt something like a hook inside him, pulling him a different way. No... no... what is this?!
You belong to me now.
Zubera danced around the faceless body of her Servant, not yet aware that this time, he was gone for good, and she wouldn't be able to put him back together again.
As Arik returned to the streets, he pulled his hood down low to hide his appearance. It would take time to replace the illusions that allowed him to walk freely among mortals, but it was well worth it. Now with Mino's soul trapped, he had even more of the power he would need to return Cessie to life. Or unlife.
SpoilerBanjo1985 was lynched, he was Mino.
Arik have now gained Mino's voiding power.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
Well once again the wolves have saved Recaiden with a vote change, since he had 6 votes and Banjo had 5.
And tomorrow he'll be day baned. If we spend 2 days lynching him, then we'll get a villager killed in retaliation.
A game where villagers decide to spend a full day lynching one neutral on the word of another kind of depresses me. Come on guys! What did Banjo actually do? He *might* have betrayed Cessie, but so might Jontom. This certainly does have the hallmarks of someone trying to cover their tracks.
Honestly, if Jontom is going to lobby for the kills of neutrals in the face of someone who could very well be a wolf and simultaneously fail to protect anyone of value, then he might have outlived his usefulness.Avatar by Simius

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
Actually, I think FC was right, and Jontom has been helping the woves all along.
The game is basically done with, anyhow. I see no chance of winning, if we can't even lynch Recaiden when he is the obvious choice.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
This post? It completely derailed everyone's train of thought. We going to finally lynch Recaiden, a highly suspected wolf, when JX posts this and everyone is so distracted that they lynch a neutral that noone really suspected anything of, instead of someone that we frankly need to lynch to get information. Recaiden's being day-baned next day, you can count on it. that means we'll have to take another two days to lynch him, two days we don't have. JX may have seriously destroyed this game for the villagers.

EDIT - Possibily inflammatory comment deleted. I'll just settle on saying that I'm losing faith in WW games ever being fun for me the way things seem to go nowadays.
