'Cause, you know, that's totally an objectively measurable thing. That being said, my standards of attractiveness tend to be pretty perpendicular to most people's. Jessica Alba does nothing for me, while (a younger) Helena Bonham Carter is like a goddess. I think I gravitate a little toward 'weird,' in general.

I know you did not just call a 3/1 haste, first striker, with Tap: deal one to target creature or player crappy all costing 2RR crappy. Seriously, she beats out Kamahl. Not to mention you throw in Balthor the Stout for some beef, then throw in Balthor the Defiled for res power.
Put Tenza, Godo's Maul on her for 3 to play 1 to equpi and she's a 6/4 trampling first strike haster.

That's pretty much exactly how I pictured her looking while reading the campaign journal. Although I saw her having the swords on opposite hips, slightly bulkier armour, no tabard and slightly shorter hair.

Well, a Powered Armor needs a lot of stuff like generators, storage space and so on; shoulders seem like a good place to place them without hampering functionality.

Well, a Powered Armor needs a lot of stuff like generators, storage space and so on; shoulders seem like a good place to place them without hampering functionality.

The fact that they're added by her second Power Suit's Varia modification (see Zero Mission, Metroid II, Super Metroid, and Metroid Prime) leads me to believe that they're primarily storage for her environmental and combat shields.

The missiles seem to be converted to and from energy, and draw on a separate power supply from Samus's defensive shielding, since she carries enough missiles to level a moderate-sized army. Matter-energy conversion seems to be a rather mundane task for Chozo tech, since her Power Suit collapses into her Zero Suit when she willingly deactivates it, and the Prime trilogy show that there's no Samus in between the Morph Ball's hemispheres, just a glowing orb of energy.

...And as to that "motivational" poster with the oversized Varia Suit: Samus never needs to doff her powered armor in combat unless it sustains critical damage (Zero Mission as well as Samus's Final Smash in Brawl). She's still the same ~2m height with the suit off as she is with it on, and has the athletic capability of an Olympic-level gymnast and decathlete in both forms thanks to the suit systems compensating for its own bulk and mass.

It looks like there are two separate strands of smoke coming out of the gun. Presumably it has two smaller barrels, which those bullets are sized for, deeper inside it.
