Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXIV: What is this "Haste" you speak of?
Good work, although UNA guns look more like this:
Here's an enlarged version of the revolver:
Also, here's a picture of Peacekeeper Soldiers in battle uniforms:
Blue berets and helmets are only used when peacekeeping and parading, as they limit camouflage and covert operations. And since the Peacekeepers use a lot of chemical weapons (it's World War I-tech, right ?) gas masks are obligatory.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXIV: What is this "Haste" you speak of?
You don't need to give him a gas mask, that's for the regular infantryman. Good leaders must have their faces exposed for morale purposes, that's why Peacekeeper High Command invented tiny but effective transparent anti-gas chips you put on your nose and lips.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXIV: What is this "Haste" you speak of?
Oops fell off A&C forums for a little while there, just a quick question. The FI story line didn't go and start without me did it? I couldn't see any comics for it in the last few pages of the Artwork thread...

Wow... Poked on last night, asked what I missed, got a response from Keveak... Backtracked and found the Q story... Excellent. Q's history knowledge apparently isn't as good as Mad Mask's...
I liked my jokes about getting his grandpa to smile for the camera when he uploaded pictures of himself :D He kept telling me they were crazily offensive, but... Lulz.

Also, it's been like more than a year since we came up with FI and started planning for the end... Who was it who called that it would be more than a year? The artist formerly known as Tired N' Drowzy, master of puns.

You did.
Also, I'm making the first comic of FI.
Really.
Who wants to be in it ? Could you please post your character bio ?
I'm just making it in advance, we won't immediately start FI when its finished.Last edited by Mad Mask; 2009-08-05 at 01:58 PM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXIV: What is this "Haste" you speak of?
I know it's probably not going to happen, considering I'm still newbie-ish and Sinister Penguin is practically the minor-est of minor characters, but it would be kind of cool if he were in it. Even if he were just standing there for one panel and didn't even do anything, it would be awesome (partly because I really really want to see you draw him). Just...consider it, or something. The best I have for a "bio" is his wiki page.
Either way, though, I'm glad that we might finally be able to actually start FI soon.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXIV: What is this "Haste" you speak of?
I'd like Ven to be in it, in some respect. Though considering Ven's nature, he will probably just show up in a Detta, or on a screen, or speaking through a communicator.

Ugh, I dug up the Raging Flame's like a month ago... MM, do you have his, and can he be in it? Or shall I dig it up (again)?

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXIV: What is this "Haste" you speak of?
While I'd usually like Lyle to be in it, I've already got his intro pretty much planned out. But if you could squeeze a UNIA agent in there somewhere, I'd be happy.
I blame everyone else. I am entitled to do so, as my character wasn't slated to appear until the Ghost of Christmas Future's bit.
