Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
Hehe, Karrish people...
I could make at least three jokes about that off the top of my head.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
No, you're not.
Now I just need to get Keiko to say "I will now".
Then Savash can wake up...
"Are you flirting while I'm in mortal danger?"
And the response would be something along the lines of "Well, I was, before you killed the mood..."
Wait, this is good stuff, I should write this down...Last edited by V'icternus; 2009-09-26 at 11:30 PM.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
You know, I've spotted some loopholes in the "Cannot love" thing... but they're kinda disturbing.
SpoilerIt doesn't stop him from liking someone as a friend, as that is not strictly love, and it doesn't stop him from knowing what it is... and it also doesn't stop him from displaying pure primal lust. Have I scarred you mentally yet?

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
It's a good thing he used good old unhealthy mental suppresion to get rid of most of his other emotions, then, eh?
(Though if he tries to perform magic while angry, I've got this cool other character design for him as he loses control...)

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
I probably will, when I have the time. Though she wouldn't likely use it very often...
EDIT: Unless...
Keiko: Sooooo... wanna get corporeal so we can make out? ^^

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
I added a bit to the wiki races section explaining Kaa's ability to revert to a physical shape. Not much, but enough.
edit: brings a whole new meaning to "Getting physical"Last edited by Darklord Bright; 2009-09-26 at 11:56 PM.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
I might make one soon.
Savash: "...Why is there a young woman with her hands on me?"
Keiko: "Typical... most people would thank me for that, you know!"
Alright, so that wouldn't happen, but it's funny, dammit!

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
Chewing out a comic while watching Dollhouse. Just got back from an Epic firefly marathon, it started with eight of us, by the end, we'd gathered at least 20 people who just happened to walk by (We were in the lobby of a dorm using a Big Screen TV).
"Hero of Canton" is my social circle's themesong.
Anyway, the E.E.T.C
E.E.T.C was, before the Wall went up, the biggest of the trading companies, and their main operating policy was to send large fleets together, rather than individual ships. Four of their Five fleets happened to be docked on Kar when the Wall went up, so when those on the outside looked at what they had, they realized it wasn't much. They had one merchant fleet full of cargo, worth more than most merchants could ever dream about, but they were used to so much more. So they shopped for a sponsor, they found one. The Archmage.
the E.E.T.C gives the archmage special deals on things, for example, and powerful magical items or tomes they find go straight to the archmage. They sell the goods the Kalps harvest and manufacture throughout the world, and provide the Arhcmage with what he needs, including Scribe Mages to help him run his large organization. He also conducts research on how to break through the Wall, knowing that the gratitude of Karrish civilization (or maybe, if nobody was alive behind the Wall anymore, the right to plunder the remains of Karrish civilization) would be a big help for his world domination schemes. Alot of people have trouble dealing the the E.E.T.C, but their market share is strong enough, and the cheap goods and low-powered magic items they get from the Archmage make them a strong competetor. They lack the Ambition of the Algeans, or the connections and stability of the Bank, but only a fool underestimates them.
