Vampire III: Sunnydale Nights

Sunnydale Burns!

As the fire at the Bronze spreads, several civic minded students take efforts to extinguish the blazes there and in the adjacent buildings. Others begin a flurry of phone calls to the Sunnydale Fire Department; three units are dispatched to aid in the efforts before there is a tragic failure of communications systems resulting in chaotic, uncoordinated efforts of individual dispatchers to get fire units where they need to be - a task further complicated by redundant calls, inaccurate information and a few deliberate false leads.

As the night wears on, the impromptu fire brigade experiences ... mixed results.

The Bronze: The fires were hottest and most dangerous here, but the combined efforts of Dallas-Dakota, Murska, Mustiado, Hyozo, Aemoh, Opeth_Freak, Thufir, Philistine, Dirk Kris, and 1 team of fire personnel were eventually successful - The Fire at the Bronze is out

The Armoury: The continuing efforts of Bayar, Geesi and a team of fire personnel were enough to hold the flames in abayance, but as of this time, The fires are not yet extinguished.

Stacey's Gym The quick efforts of Lex-kat, Sanity702 and the third fire team, combined with the smaller fire here were sufficent to extinguish the blaze. The Fire at Stacey's Gym is out

The Gun Store Evnafets tried his hardest to quench the blaze at the gun store, but without any assistance, he was not equal to the task. The Gun Store Burns to the ground with many explosions - fire spreads!

The Repair Shop With nobody attempting to quell the blaze, the Repair shop was quickly reduced to a gutted shell.

Ongoing Effects: Characters
Several characters suffered burns from the fires that will take some time to recover from.

Two of Sunnydale's students suffered more severe injuries; Sunnydale ER reports that Eldritch Knight and Alarra are in serious but stable condition.

With the excellent efforts on the east side of Main Street, Radcliffe Park is in no danger; while the Armoury still burns, both of the adjacent structures have been extinguished, and the distance involved makes it almost certain that portion of the blaze will not spread to Radcliffe.
Unfortunately, because of the failure to contain the fires at the Gun Store & Repair shop, the flames have spread to Weatherly Park; where the dry summer has ensured there is plenty of material for the flames to feed on...

When roll calls were conducted, Aemoh was not among the living.

Aemoh died in the night.

On the other hand, due to mysterious circumstances, Mordokai has returned from the dead. Again.

Event: Fire at the Bronze - has ended

Day ends and Night begins. Due to Shadow vanishing, Night will likely run for 72 hours (3 days) to give him a little more time to show up again; after that point, I will conduct the narration if he has not.

Quickly people, we must rally to the hospital and put the fire out from there! We do not want to lose our doctors, sick, and the burned yet memorable members of ours community. Will we let them pass away, their lives gone to waste for nothing? I think not. People We should rally to the armoury and the hospital side of the park! We can quench this fire!

The hospital should be our main concern, but we should focus not too tightly. Some should remain here and go put out the fire at the armoury!

We will defeat that fire!

I quickly start running to the hospital side of the park. Dousing the corner of the hospital on the side of the park with water and then from there start trying to put out the fire in the park(the side nearest to the hospital).

I point at Mordokai. AGAIN.

Also I attempt to put out the flames in the park.

It appears that the vampires are onto a REAL winner here!

Each voting phase we lynch Mordokai.
Each non-voting phase they resurrect him.

If we carry on like this for the rest of the game, we won't lynch a single vampire (apart from Mordokai).

I suggest that people turn their votes to the people who are just SO eager to see him lynched again...and again...and again.

Anyway, isn't Murska dead? If not, why aren't I pointing at him? Oh yeah, 'cos I think FC is a vampire. Why else is he still alive?

Concerning Mordokai: he has taken a leave of absence from GitP and will return somewhere in January. In the meantime, why not sit things out and let him get auto'd?

Starla turns to Paul, cheeks flushed from the heat and her exertions...but she can't find him in all the smoke. Coughing, she heads towards the armory. Her sweatshirt - her new one! - catches on a bit of debris and rips. Cursing quietly, she tears off the ripped piece and ties it over her mouth and nose to protect them. She takes off the rest of the sweatshirt, ties it around her waist, and heads off to help in her tanktop.
Put out the flames in the armory.

Dallas sees Murska also start trying to put out the fire in the park.

Except that if the Vampires have an ability to resurrect someone every single night, the game is already over and we might just as well quit now.

Yeah, even if we kill any other vampire, the other vampires can just ressurect it. Although that might be a good thing, since there is a very big chance that they wont get ressurected as a vampire (random roll distribution after getting ressurected and stuff).

Plus, DD, in this game, Night phase is lynch decision phase. It is inverted compared to the normal WW day/night phases.

--The Book of the Dead: (Necromancer) Once every three non-voting phases the player in possession of the Book of the Dead can use it's foul necromancy to raise one dead player from the grave, but this individual becomes horribly disfigured in the process. Raised players are randomly assigned a new role (Vampire is a possibility as well). Once used, this ability cannot be used again until two full days have passed.

So, they can't resurrect someone every day.

As they are waiting Jen offers them a movie from her parent's extensive collection. As the three of them the door rings, signaling the delivery of the pizza. Two in fact one large anchovy and one large pepperoni.

Mister Buttons dashes off, invariably heading towards Jen's parent's room by the laws of dramatic comedy.

Alas, Mister Buttons is away from the other two on a mission! This house needs more cat hair!

Cerise saves a couple of slices of the anchovy pizza for Jen, if she wants them.

Mister Buttons struts his way back to the pair to nom the anchovy pizza.

Just as Mister Buttons gets to the pizza, Cerise picks him up. Not yet Mister Buttons. First you have to thank Jen for buying the pizza.

She holds Mister Buttons out to Jen. Give her a hug.

Jen hugs Mr. Buttons, then tares into the Pepperoni pizza with a vengeance, realizing she is not being very lady like she blushes and resumes eating in a more civilized manor, Looking over at Cerise, Oh let him be he can't get into to much trouble unless he somehow manages to get into the back yard. Then he might be in trouble we have a lab who hates cats.... Finishing her slice she motions to the couch taking the pizza with her she looks back. What movie do you want to watch?

Mister Buttons shudders and shakes himself a little at the hug, trying his best to maintain his dignity and failing. Stoopid humans and their rules on thank yous and appreciation. Still... they had food. He'll put up with it. Today...
