What a mess. Dr. Anxxfiva Marboossssuloni, who was called Dr. Bath for no explainable reason (except that his race had a clear white skin and was shaped in a kind of a bath tub), cleaned up the quarantine. The bodies of Kliss, Kayne and Peters still were lying around, well part of the bodies, but no one cared really cared about quarantine anymore. What was in it was already out and since no other body was found the things that killed the Doctors were still around. Maybe they were amongst them. Dr. Bath shivered.
He examined some blood spills around Dr. Peters as he noticed a motion. What could that be? No one of the doctors would have voluntarily attended at the cleaning and there were no animals here… another move. This time he saw it. One leg of Mustiados was moving. It was the leg that was ripped apart. Slowly the toes scratched around the floor, as if they were searching for something. Dr. Bath moved closer. This was interesting. He followed the leg till it found the rest of the body and attached itself on it. Suddenly Bath noticed that the skin was growing together and a sligth fur could be seen on it. That was the reason they found no other bodies!
“I must warn the others!” he thought, then he ran to the next computer and send an E-Mail with his discoveries to all his fellow scientists. Relaxed he sat back. He had done his duty but he had some kind of feeling he had forgotten something. Then he felt a furry arm on his shoulder. “Hello Dr. Bath! Maybe you should have shut the door before you went out of the quarantine.”

As they found him he was ripped totally apart but thanks to his E-Mail the scientists now knew what to do with that kind of dead bodies. They burnt him and strew the ashes in the ice.
“Thanks to this Fool the other three are around, too” one of the scientists said.
“Yes, but now we know how to defeat them.”

Summary: Dr. Bath was killed, he was the Fool.

Still half-frozen fingers moved over the command device as I began the process of extracting what remained of the message.

"Oh Hades," I cursed under my breath. I sent a copy of the transmission to Command, and attempted to determine where the signal had come from; set up a relay using the polar arrays to broadcast to a wider region of space in the hopes of a return signal that could be more accurately traced.

I'd used about ten hours of air, didn't refill the suit. What was the point? It was all going fine, normal procedure is the five day mark - the air gets harder to breathe.
