Re: Let's Play: MSPaint Adventure: GenGame!
Actually, I made that rule before I realized that quantity > quality when it comes to commands. I'd still ask you to try and keep it under control, so don't start posting 50+ commands for one update to try and get one used. (hint: it won't work)
As for keeping them in the same post, that'd be nice, but don't go back and edit them in hours later because more likely than not I'll just never see it.
And just to repeat myself, post more commands! There's a lot of the same few people posting commands each round. I know we have more than 5 readers! Even if you think it's a stupid command, just post it. Often what seem like the worst commands make for the best updates. And of course, discuss!5e Homebrew: Death Knight (Class), Kensai (Monk Subclass)Excellent avatar by Elder Tsofu.

There, now you can see the whole room, and all the dirty magazines that you should also confisca...oh there aren't any more. Maybe they're all hidden away. Well, good! That's where stuff like that belongs! You'd better find them and take them away anyways though, or who knows what this guy will do with them.

Let's see, a ball of twine, two packs of gum, a pencil, an old music box, a rusty slinky, a few plastic gems, and a blank piece of paper. Not really the epic loot you were hoping for, but you guess you should have expected as much.

Aw man, look at that face. He deserved every bit of your tongue lashing and paper thwacking, of course, but maybe you were a bit rough on him...
You hastily scribble down an APOLOGETIC NOTE and throw it at him to set things straight.

> SM: Take Rusty Slinky
I don't know if the rest of you have ever heard the rumors, but there have been tales, some of which come from players such as Nowucme, that there is a secret room in Castle Bane that can only be opened with the Slinky. There isn't that great of treasure inside, but who knows, the reports on these rooms are rather scarce.

Re: Let's Play: MSPaint Adventure: GenGame!
Yeah. Way I've heard it, certain Stairs in Castle Bane are secretly doors. If you send a Rusty slinky down them, a hidden door will open somewhere nearby.
Of course, it's impossible to know which stairs, or if a door opened, or where said door would open, and since this is Castle Bane we're talking about, it is trying it's best to murder you the entire time.

I don't actually wish malice upon the poor bear, but SM's position is looking pretty grim unless she has some more advantages over the Shadowbears (and this advantage would be particularly amusing). 'course, with my luck it'll turn out that RUNES cancel out CATASTROPHIC WEAKNESSES.Last edited by Ascension; 2010-10-28 at 12:47 AM.

Re: Let's Play: MSPaint Adventure: GenGame!
Huh, but Problem Sleuth is so much more than that... i didn't bother to read it for quite a while, but once i started in flat out binged it. Heavy stuff, but gets better quite rapidly. (apart from the lots of dallying around that is luckily not that much of an issue when you can binge it.)

Of course! Can't go getting sidetracked when you've got an important task at hand! You quickly scour all of the likely hiding places. Nobody has just ONE POLITICAL MAGAZINE after all. Right?
Hm, nothing under the bed...just a pile of broken clocks, a radiator, and an ancient looking torch. Nothing out of the usual. Must be in...the wardrobe! Damn! Just a rack of a couple dozen RAZOR RAPIERS. Those could come in useful, but they're not what you were looking for.

Re: Let's Play: MSPaint Adventure: GenGame!
Personnaly, I'd say you missed absolutly nothing with Problem Sleuth but I can tell you that despite first apparence, it has nothing, but realy nothing to do with noir whatsoever. It's more like 'waiting for Godot' the internet game with puzzles and video games gameplay jokes threwn in
.. okay it's a very bad description, but really, Probem Sleuth just isnt that intersting in my opinion.
Usualy I like random and absurd humour but here it j_ust feel like an overly long repetition of running gags. I think the main problem with me is that the logic behind most of those gags seems based on private 'you had to there to understand' kind of joke (i'm thinking the whole key/weapon joke for esxample, where the hell did that came from ?)
Anyway,
