Okay, I'm really getting fed up with this crap. Sure, go lynch me day one in Classic, attempt the same in Camelot and then kill me once you fail, attempt a lynch in HP, Cults, I'm used to it. But getting used as a suitable lynch target by wolves just because I happen to be me and nobody will believe a word I say? Yeah, screw you.

I'm the Baner. I don't really care whether or not you believe me. Lynch Castaras once I'm gone.

Hmm... on one hand, if Cas is telling the truth, Murska's a pirate and should be lynched.

Yet, it seemed a rather foolish maneuver to out yourself rather than through proxy considering the number of days that have gone by. Furthermore, we weren't in desperate need to lynch a pirate, having just gotten one yesterday, so I'm not sure why we needed a kill as she said. Especially since there was a chance Murska would have gotten lynched anyways, the running being when I checked, 4 for Murska, 5 Shadow, 6 The Valiant Turtle.

If Cas is a wolf and Murska is the baner, but Shadow and TVT are not wolves, then it really doesn't seem worth the effort to redirect the lynch. Both Shadow and TVT would be great to lynch and save the pirates night kills.

If Cas, Shadow, and TVT are all pirates, then the point of outing like this would be twofold. Kill the baner via lynching, and draw attention away from Shadow and TVT for the next two, three days at least.

I'm going back to Shadow. The way I see it, if he's guilty then Cas is lying and guilty too (TVT perhaps as well). And right now I think that the most probable situation. There's evidence there and it'll help resolve the seer/baner situation without risking the seer (if one is even alive) or baner.

If he's innocent, then I'm Probably the seer. If he's guilty, I'm the fool and you can lynch me tomorrow, in full knowledge that the real seer was killed a few nights ago.

I happened to get a free moment while one nephew is at sports camp and the other is napping, and what do I come to find?
    Seer claim, accuses Murska.
Baner claim, indignant rant smelling sweetly like my own similar rant on Classic.
    Momentum gathering on Shadow.

    Shocking.

It's true, I haven't been paying much attention, but temporarily having a 2 year old and a 4 year old to care for when you normally have zero children to look after tends to take up most of your free time. Even more so than the folks who are used to having those kids around.

Cas claims that the Seer might have died a few days ago?
    News to me....

Cas may be the fool, but that doesn't mean that Murska's innocent.
Murska may be the Baner, but a post filled with outrage that, to put it simply, seemed feigned and out of character for Murska doesn't give that argument much weight.

I'm inclined to think that Murska really is a Pirate and that this was an attempt to out the real Baner. But take that with a grain of salt, because as I said, I haven't had much time to pay much attention to this game.

Lynch me if you want to. Lord knows I won't have time to defend myself, so you'll have little trouble. But don't take the claims today lightly.
And I'll be waiting for Cas' response to my previous question, which I'll probably not see until it's too late.

Only reason I scried Murska last night was because of his place on the bandwagon. I haven't been in many of his other games, so don't know other things. No, I haven't scried you - thought I had (was probably hiding from your WW classic wrath). So I have no idea if you're a wolf or not. If you are, awesome. If not... Oh well.

Good, got an answer before I had to leave. Nice. And now a recant.... interesting. I'm not sure what to make of the recant though.
Is Cas a wolf trying to get rid of the Baner?
Is Murska a Pirate trying to save his own hide?
Is Reinholdt a Pirate, trying to lynch a good guy?
Is everyone just simply wrong and the Pirates are laughing at us?
    Our choices are these folks:
    • lynch Murska if we believe Cas
    • lynch Cas if we believe Murska
    • lynch me if you believe Reinholdt's theory, which does nothing to help solve the Cas/Murska debate
    • lynch someone else if we're not sure what to do, which still does nothing to resolve the Cas/Murska debate.

Retaliatory point at Reinholdt as a placeholder until we sort some things out, because I know my role and he doesn't.

Lynch me then. Means that I can disappear back to my other games where I don't have such an annoying role. ( HATE being seer/fool >.< )

If you lynch me, you'll either get told "Castaras was the Fool" "Castaras was the Seer" or "Castaras was the fool or the seer". Then you'll either know, won't know, or are not sure on whether you should believe my claim or not. So could solve the Cas/Murska debate, could not.

*shrugs* Doesn't matter to me. I've at least managed to throw suspicion on one person - whether it's right or wrong I dunno. Nobody I've scried as died yet, luckily, considering they were all apparently good roles.

Alternatively, we could lynch The Valient Turtle (or Shadow, I guess) and see whether Castaras is a pirate trying to redirect the lynch. That way we don't have to decide between lynching a seer claimant and a baner claimant.

Well I did have reasoning on to how it would solve the Cas/Murska debate.

Then Cas went and supported the idea. Which is really rather disconcerting to me.

If Cas and you were a pirate that shouldn't happen as it defeats her earlier point. If Cas was a pirate and you were innocent, it'd make sense, but then we wouldn't want to follow this course of action. If Cas was innocent and you were a pirate, it'd still defeat the point of the test by giving the wrong info. If Cas and you were innocent, then everything's confused and lynching you is a waste of time anyways.

At this point I'm just hoping no one's got enough votes so that day can get extended. Unless we have a horribly unlucky fool who scried the baner as a pirate, there's one in here somewhere.

We still haven't captured Supagoof and shaved him bald, but we caught one of his crew and that's good news. Unfortunately, Alarra isn't sure enough of anyone's guilt to let us throw anyone overboard yet...so I thought I'd tell you about our next island.

The llama gestures to the starboard side where an island littered with small military encampments is visible.

Spytrap island was discovered by Jontom Xire early in 2008. It features the unique elements of codewords that are used to help teammates find each other without knowing their allies identities. It can feature a lot of intrigue and espionage especially since there is always a double agent who knows the code words for team good, but is aligned with the bad. This island is also the reason I have to shave Supagoof bald, but that's mostly a "fun fact" for the kids and not really trivia. Mordokai has done an excellent job of exploring the island lately in JX's place.

We're looking for 9 votes to throw someone overboard. if we don't receive the necessary votes in 24 hours, we'll throw Bookman overboard instead.

P.S. You really should play the next Spytrap!

The best thing would be to lynch someone Castaras has scryed, so we can confirm or eliminate the Castaras-Fool, Murska-Baner possibility. If the revealed role matches her scry (according to Castaras), then and only then do we know for sure that one of the two is lying.

The Cas/Murska debate will pretty much be resolved when someone is lynched....

I'll go Blue Ghost. Here's why:

    Let them live.

Shocked? One more wolf alive won't hurt us for the time being, and I'd rather not risk losing a power role. Chances are one of them's a power role. If the game gets bad, then we lynch both and get it over with. In the meantime, we have a living power role, we just don't know which one it is.

Suppose Castaras really is the Seer? Eventually she catches another wolf and we have two wolves. Suppose Castaras is a wolf pretending? Eventually she'll have to sell out another wolf or her cover will be blown. And then either we get a free wolf or we get Cassie.

So I say lynch no one. I'd like to lynch SOMEONE, but no bandwagon's gonna form on anyone else by now, so screw it.

Default I just wish Banjo were here for this. Hope he's having fun!

Well, if Reinholdt thinks Valiant Turtle is a pirate then Alarra says that's all we need. Okay everybody, lets line up in an orderly fashion and calmly throw Mr. Turtle over the edge.

*The remaining passengers all get into a single file line and prepare to push the VT when he makes an impassioned plea.*

According to military code, a man suspected of treason on a ship is allowed the dignity to throw himself overboard. Since this is a military themed island, I should be allowed that.

The passengers all huddle together and agree that this is acceptable. So the turtle slowly starts to work his way to the edge of the "Bandwagon." Inch by inch he crawls, slowly sliding one flipper forward and then moving the other flipper forward in a slow slow slow fashion. Like a glacier, he crawls forward, centimeters pass. The passengers check their watches as the sun sets. Still the turtle crawls onward. Finally, just as VT successfully moves a full foot forward a large fat man in a chef's hat steps in with a hearty laugh.

It almost got away! This will make a tasty tasty dinner for you all when you visit my island! I've sent the wife away for the weekend so she won't kill you all, either!

The man grabs the turtle and carries him to a motorboat and hops in despite Valiant's protests. A DC 17 spot check will let you see that the boat is called "The Baron's Boat."

A search of Valiant Turtle's room turns up a boarding pass and little else.

Valiant Turtle was taken away by a large rich chef. Poor guy. His fate won't be pretty. He was a passenger. Night will last approximately 24 hours unless something goes wrong, but Atreyu does have Star Wars: Saga Edition tomorrow night, so we'll see. Please send all night actions to Alarra, Indurain, and Atreyu.

It's been a long long night
And I've been writing in a fog.
It's been a long long night,
I should be sleeping like a log.
But when I send PMs in,
I hope that they'll help me win
if I play the game right.

You know I point at day
    And bandwagon for the lynch.
And it's worth it just to here you say,
You're a pirate, so don't give an inch.
When in the playground I groan,
'Cos what you sent on the phone,
    Gave you role away.

When I point everything seems to be right.
But I'm stuck, waiting for the end of night, night, yeah.

And though we spoke on the phone,
I could tell by your tone,
    What role you have today,

When I point everything seems to be right.

    So please end the night

The members of HALO are sitting around their table planning what to do and who to believe and how to save the ship from murderous pirates. One of them stands up, holding a piece of paper.

This is a message sent to us by Duos. Its a warning that one of us isn't really a member of HALO, but a supervillain who has infiltrated our group. In fact, its two villains working together, we must act quickly.

Everyone gives a gasp of surprise when the man pulls a gun and fires it at own of their own. The accused reels backwards as his body starts to break apart into thousands of arachnids that all scurry away.

Shadow was killed. He was a cross between Lex Luthor and Professor Moriarty that was made of spiders! He was also a member of Halo.

Shadow, the role, is still alive and well, but the player has left us.

Day begins and will probably end on Monday night.

Castaras because she's either the fool or a wolf and neither one would be too bad a loss.

Incidentally, I protected Shadow a few times in the previous nights, but not now since I had to out myself. I protected Castaras tonight because I found it likely that if she were the fool, she'd be targeted by the wolves now that they'd think she was very unlikely to be baned by me which would reveal her as seer/fool and cast suspicion on myself.

She was not attacked. Take of this what you will, but eh, here's my point.

Why would they attack me if I was the fool, or even the seer? Better to throw suspicion on me and get me lynched than the chance that one of them might be bandwagoned instead.
