Re: Bibliography II
Actually, if Elagune went with the limitations that I provided the Zephyr Codex, they actually don't get the usual durability/strength you get when you become a page: Charlie is only able to fly because his bones are lighter than a normal human's; He compensates by being more acrobatic and y'know flying.

Re: Bibliography II
Same difference to me. Regular megaman, now with extra grippy boot action! I'm actually a fan of both series
Opal will be a special print edition only extra feature referred to as 'Find Opal!', similar to where's waldo. Hard mode is finding both Opal and both of her eyedolls hidden about in each chapter.Last edited by ninja_penguin; 2010-10-02 at 11:09 AM.

Re: Bibliography II
-Get's Megaman fanboy hat on-
Actually, it's most likely that X is a different robot than Megaman. See, while Megaman was human, he still didn't have what we call 'free will'. X was the first robot that did, and is possibly the prototype of a reploid. So he does have a few difference from regular Megaman.
-Takes off Megaman fanboy hat-
But who cares about stuff like that, amirite?

Re: Bibliography II
Yep, Megaman X (or just X as he's usually called) is Megaman's sucessor, who was placed into hibernation for decades so that his mind would develop properly. Reploids were created by a guy who studied X's design while he slept, but the lack of a hibernation stage means that they have the potential for evil.

Re: Bibliography II
My birthdays tomorrow, any hope of a present Elagune? No? Its fine anyway, thinking on jumping onto this character creation boat. Is a Codex that uses there own blood as a weapon fine? Doesn't matter anyway. Rejection can't possibly hurt my mood.

Re: Bibliography II
I've been reading this for quite a long while (About since Chapter 7 I think) and i'm finding it pretty cool so far. It's a unique concept, with a lot of good ideas, and, being manga, they have to crack out a joke or crazy facial expression every so often. So far, so good, for now i'd like to see some more Eve backstory. (Which might also go into more detail about Abyssals and Descent...)
EDIT: Speaking of character creation, I've got a concept in. Give it a look over whenever you have a bit of spare time.Last edited by Cyborg Mage; 2010-10-02 at 01:09 PM.

FILLER TIME! Bibliography 4-Koma, here we go!

Man, I remember when these guys were just sketches on my notebook. I remember Satomi was drawn up like three minutes before I started on the first page.
When did these guys start developing personalities on me.

Re: Bibliography II
God, I
'm starting tolove Satomi.
And that happens. I remember Nobuhiro Watsuki, author of Rurouni Kenshin explaining what happened with a side character. At first, she was just an unimportant side character with barely any info about her. She did gradually gain some importance, though.
A better example, I guess, would be some of my characters I'm working on. Hell, the entire story could count. What started as a daydream is a story I aspire to write, once my storytelling and drawing abilities are good enough.Last edited by Maximum Zersk; 2010-10-03 at 05:07 AM.

Re: Bibliography II
Eve's reasoning is like that of one of the oldest characters in the history of French comics (first published in 1890!), an elderly sapper well past his prime but, officially, not old enough to retire. He was created by Christophe. His legacy lives on in the form of a newspaper that is published every February 29th, with the Sunday issue being published only once every 28 years. Only newspaper I know which offers lifelong subscriptions.

Ben's comment on Astrology suddenly makes me want to know what his stance on the "Hard Science vs. Soft Science" thing is.
