Fleeing Coward was sure he'd discovered the Professor and followed him into a tall building on 5^th and Main.

He followed the man into the elevator. As the doors closed, FC looked toward this enemy of the Playground. The Professor looked over at him, obviously worried.

As soon as the doors closed, FC grabbed the Professor by the collar and slammed him against the wall. What did you do with Alarra! he demanded.

But the professor just shook his head, saying nothing. But as he did, FC noticed something... not quite right about the Professor's face. It looked, rubbery.

FC grabbed the rubbery substance and ripped it off. To his surprise, he found that it was a mask. He blinked twice at what now looked to be a middle-management computer nerd. Even his clothes changed to a white dress shirt and black tie. Just like those kids from the Geek Squad.

What's going on here? He asked, slightly confused. I was sure you were the Professor. Where's Alarra? Tell me now, and you won't be hurt. He raised his fist in a threatening manner.

No, wait. Please don't hurt me. This threw FC for a loop. Because the voice that he heard was a distinctly female voice. He searched the face and neck of the hacker, and found what he was looking for. He pulled off the mask and found......

ok we got a wolf but now I'm competely confused...
I've just checked the numbers again, they still point to what I've stated. Lex had confirmed that neither The Professor or Lex could turn off their powers yesterday and both Alarra and the Voider were dead before Gray Mage got lynched so unless there's secret powers that Lex decided not to reveal, Alarra had to be The Professor...

Since they didn't claim yesterday, they're either neutral or wolf, so we can probably assume they're wolf.

Well, it worked out for us, but that still means the Professor is out there... mind doing some more math based on this?

First thought that came into mind is a vote reducing role so rather than adding a vote, they remove one. Following that line of thought, I believe we're most likely to find our professor amongst the following 3 names:
Lord Fullbladder
Eldritch Knight
Atreyu

I'll explain my logic and maybe refine my list later when it isn't one thirty in the morning

My guess is that it would be atreyu, as it certainly isn't me. How can I prove that? Simple, if the role gets extra weight on the votes, that it's easily proven by who gets the lynch. As the numbers are reduced, the extra weighted votes are a little more easily found.

I am reasonably confident that I have worked out who the professor is this time. However, I'm going to keep from posting my beliefs at this point so as not to influence the wolf kill tonight in case they want to help me narrow down the suspects list

I made a mistake Day 7. Somehow I miscounted the votes as 7-7, with Gray Mage reaching 7 first. Korias actually had 8 votes.

Now this completely screws things up, as Gray Mage shouldn't have died, which lead to Lady Tialait dying as well. Which in turn lead to Alarra dying instead of the real Professor.

So, I'm trying to figure out how to make this right, without breaking the game. Suggestions?

Honestly, I would have no issue just starting over (although I guess we couldn't keep the same roles) as this was a very enjoyable game.

But I see no reason not to just continue the game as is. I'm not playing anymore (so I don't have much of a stake at the present time) but I am curious how it'll finish up.

Fleeing Coward pressed the button for the twelth floor, but the elevator kept rising. He pressed the E Stop button, but the elevator did not stop. What the heck is wrong with this thing! He started pressing the E Stop button harder, as if that would somehow help him out.

Alarra giggled madly behind him. They are watching us. You cannot escape now, FC. You will join us, and together, we will destroy the Playground.

Fleeing Coward turned on her, his eyes wide. What did you just say? Alarra, you're not one of them. He lunged forward, grabbing her by the shoulders. Alarra, wake up!

But as he tried to persuade Alarra, he hadn't noticed the elevator coming to a silent, but quick, halt. Three men stepped into the elevator. Welcome, Fleeing Coward, we've been waiting for you.

Fleeing Coward turned to see who was addressing him, but before he could get a good look at his captor, he was clubbed in the head by Alarra. Night, sweet chicken.

Sanity702 is The Professor. That is my opinion now that I have looked at things.

Only 5 people voted for Duneyrr day 1. That should not have been enough to hit the 25% majority and Murska moved away from that bandwagon so my only conclusion is The Professor had to be on the bandwagon.
The 5 that were on:
Alarra (Hacker)
Atreyu
Ramsus (Protected by baner)
Sanity
Deathslayer (Shield)

So basically, looking at this, only Atreyu and Sanity are viable candidates for The Professor.
However, if you then look to day 3, you'll notice that there was a huge counterwagon against Atreyu by 3 known wolves and Sanity. It is possible that they were relying on Atreyu's own votes to negate most of that but that is huge risk to take without knowing who Lex was.

That along with the fact that Eldritch Knight want Atreyu lynched and Atreyu having a reason why he couldn't vote along with Sanity not changing his vote during Tialait v Zanshin all points towards the fact that Sanity is indeed The Professor.

As for other wolves, my current suspicion list looks something like this:
Eldritch Knight (He's been up high on my list for days and this is based on both his voting patterns and gut - missed votes, off wagon when he votes and pushing Tialait's wagon)
Qwaz (The sort of low profile player I'd expect an alpha to pick, easily "persuaded" to change back to Tialait and also on Atreyu bandwagon day 3)
Lord Fullbladder (My gut tells me he's a wolf but I'm not confident on this one at all. He voted against Tialait, he voted against Alarra when it didn't really matter early and Matt K pointed at him day 1 - I've noticed quite a few wolves have the tendency to point to another wolf day 1)
