(Today's lyrical recap - with guest stars Thufir and Zar Peter, cause it made more sense that they sang the song.)

    [Music Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen]
    Is this the real life?

    Is this just fantasy?

    Caught in a forum,
    To escape from reality
Open the page, another day phase ends he,

Thufir that poor boy, he got no sympathy,
Because he easy point, at one you know, person above, person below,
Any way the day goes doesn't really matter with fear,
    Thuuuuufir!

    (Thufir)
    Petey, I got killed again,
Not with a gun I said, pointed fingers, now I'm dead
    Petey, game had just begun,
But now they've gone and I was done today
Petey, ooh, Didn't mean to let you down,
If I'm not a werewolf game tomorrow,
Carry on, carry on cause silliness it matters
Too late, real life has come,
Sends questions through my brain, body's aching from the pain,
Goodbye, ev'rybody, I've got to go,
Gotta leave you all behind and face un-truth
Petey, ooh, I don't want to die,
I sometimes wish I'd never found life at all
Carry on, carry on cause silliness it matters

    (Zar Peter)
I see a crawling corpse of a dead man,
Squid Bones, Squid Bones, will you prove yourself to Koorly
Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very exciting to me

    Undead coming.
    Undead coming?
    Undead coming!
Undead coming? Undead Coming! We must go
    So off we go!
I'm a playgrounder and nobody loves me
    He's a playgrounder from the S-M-B-G,
Spare him real life so he can stay here you see.

Easy come, easy go, will you let me go
R-L-Says! No, we will not let him go
    (Let him go!)
R-L-Says! No, we will not let him go\
    (Let him go!)
R-L-Says! No, we will not let him go
    (Let me go)
    Will not let him go
    (Let ME go)
    Will not let them go
    (Let me go)
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
    Oh mama mia, mama mia
    Mama mia, let me go
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for thee, for thee, for THEEEEEEEEEE!

So you think you can vote me off into real life
So you think you point at me and leave me to die
Oh, playground, can't do this to me, playground,
Just gotta get out, just gotta get of this game here

Real life don't matter, Even ZP can see,
    Real life don't matter,
Real life don't matter to me

He'd fought the warriors of Real Life for years; was intimately familiar with their tactics. It would start out innocently - someone, possibly goaded, possibly not - rarely on the inside; would issue the initial thrust.

Quote Originally Posted by Korias View Post

This was the first turning of the wheel. The wordsmith knew all too keenly it would not be the last, and so he retired early to his home, where he began to write; to describe and enfold, entice and embrace; to attempt, by means of his prose, to create a work that encapsulated the whole of what made the Playground great. Romance, horror ... pathos, conflict. Betrayal and redress, laughter and tears.

    Camaraderie.

He wrote like a man possessed, heedless of the passing of the hours, of the growth of the crowd outside his home who looked suspiciously upon his work as they did upon his visage. The pounding of his heart crashing in his chest matched the meter of the log crashing into the door of his home. A splintering crack, and pain burst outward in a nova of red. Still he wrote; turning pages, setting ink to paper even as the blood began to drip from his nose and ears.

The door shattered as it flew inward, the sound of protesting hinges nearly drowned out by the horrific noise of the splintering wood. As the wordsmith looked up from his book, his vision was tinged in red; eyes bloodshot.

He could see them; the blood in his retinas clung to their forms, hidden among the Playgrounders ... his Playgrounders. They flooded into his house, knocking over many precious fragile things as they moved to seize him. So many memories shattered in the course of a few seconds. He rose from his chair, clutching up the book to his chest. Blood spattered as it fell from his chin.

"You accuse me of being from the Real Life because I am gifted with the power of words. It saddens me that you, whom I thought I knew so well, knew me so poorly."

He threw the book to the ground; it landed on its spine and fell open to a depiction of a scene of playgrounders engaged in a massive snowball war. As the Playgrounders took hold of him, he stepped forward ... and twisted in their grip ... changing into words themselves which fell to the book below and were absorbed into the pages.

Helgraf withdrew into his own magnum opus. He was a playgrounder.

This is a story of seven voters
They had the same target but different motives
They lynch together like a family should
Roaming the country for their own good

It came to pass one faithful day
They found themselves down Playground way
The town, the ffrp, the structured games
Not very much reason for them to stay

They'd only stopped for Trog's speedo
But then they heard about Alarra from some bandito
A poor little writer in need of aid
The real life crowd had never been afraid
The capitalist age is not dead
They flashed some cash went where it led
There'd be contract for her to snare
And take her out of this nowhere.

Playground is stronger than Real Life
    Shipping was thicker than blood
    Town is stronger than sellouts
Playground's a big fat river of fun...

    The outcome is predictable
    The banditos are despicable
The time has claimed a half-dozen
A small price to pay for pudding Alarr-ia
Indurian was happy but his face was glum
    The maidens numbered only one
There weren't seven offers for seven brothers
They know they gonna have to get rid of the others

Playground is stronger than Real Life
    Shipping was thicker than blood
    Town is stronger than sellouts
Playground's a big fat river of fun...

Mother told me I was the clever one
The writing son of a plotting son
    It all ended unfortunately
I settled down in my fantasy
I look forward to a better day
Where real life stuff never gets in my way
Where pudding's good and bread is leavened
And Alarra and us is like living in heaven

Playground is stronger than Real Life
    Shipping was thicker than blood
    Town is stronger than sellouts
Playground's a big fat river of fun...

    Er...what was Helgraf? Role wise?

Also I think I should point out that just because we need a 25% majority doesn't mean we can't have competing bandwagons. As long as at least 25% of all voters are on the lynchees wagon we will lynch someone. I say this to stop us descending into a single target panic each day. We do that and the wolves will find it too easy to hide.

    2 people vote for A
then 2 people vote for B
then 2 people vote for C
then 2 people vote for D

Result: Person A gets lynched with 25% of the vote.

    However if...

    2 people vote for A
then 2 people vote for B
then 2 people vote for C
then 2 people vote for D
then 1 person votes for E

Result: Noone is lynched as a 25% majority is not reached.
