I mean, with Kinimax, where is that extraneous 'i' coming from? If you say it's Minmax's, then you're taking out his 'n' for no good reason. You've got this 'i' pulled from the nethers, no origination to speak of.

In reality, it all has to balance out. It's the Law of Pairing-Name Letter Displacement. You might even call this law...

'An 'i' for an 'i'.'

So I went back a bit in the comic and I noticed that the first couple of panels of this strip are very similiar to the last few panels of this one.

At the moment it's just a callback, although it could evolve into a running gag. Eh, I thought it was mildly interesting.

Wait, he can't get the concept of electrical conductivity at any more advanced level than "penis go boom" but he can come up with "tactile interjunction" for "Don't touch me!" ? I understand him even less than I did before.

I like that he was smart enough to realize why she hesitated though. Boy is learning, gradually.

Only over a very short distance. Such as say, a waist high electric wire thats less than a foot away perhaps? He didnt get shocked peeing on a fence himself, then later on they tested it with the third rail due to a myth about a drunken frat boy peeing on the tracks and getting zapped. Also yeah, I knew the whole touching thing would come up. Best guess? She didnt freak out so much this time due to the fact that he didnt grab a fist full of her hair and call it weird. But still, minmax had this whole sweet thing going on there at the end. He seems to earn brownie points with her without even trying. Thank god, because if he WAS trying, he likely would grossly offend her with every other sentence. :p

I really like Hunt's portrayal of MM as it concerns being a good aligned character.

I think it's easy to see his distrust of monstrous humanoids (especially early on when he just thought they were all evil) and forget that he can still be a nice guy.

My guess is she didn't freak out because he didn't actually touch her, he just offered her his hand. It was a gesture of kindness this time, not a violation of personal space.

I'm thinking that at some point she's going to grab his hand, but it's probably too soon... Probably will happen somewhere near the end of their arc...

Kinmax may be the sweetest pairing of any comic I'm reading right now. This includes the ones built on romantic themes. Those last three panels are so cuuute.

PLEASE, someone explain to me in detail the "tactile interjunction" thingy on the last panel? English is not my mother tongue and I feel that I am missing something.
Is he making up words again like he did before with his adjectives? Is he messing with foreign words and screws up? Is he making fun of Kin? Is he making a dirty comment (I know that "junk" is a colloquial word for penis and "tactile" sounds similar to "tentacle" and ...) I don't know, these are just words that Minmax wouldn't use normally. And since it's the last panel, it obviously contains a joke but I can't flag it.
