An excellent idea. Ramsus is really in charge, but I'm tempted to just say, "Okay, get it in in the next six hours, or it's random."

Was sorta hoping I wouldn't have to do that but...yeah. Ok deadline is Wednesday 12:00 pm PST (because that's where I live!). After that I'll attempt to replace people with the autolynch replacements and if not assign whoever's left with something random.

The land was in turmoil. A meeting had been called among the Elemental Kin, to find a way to put down the threat of the Anzjiels and Dyviils. They knew very little about this meeting, and their current state. The huge table seated ambassadors from every nation and Kin. Fire Kin spoke with Wood Kin, Water Kin spoke with Storm Kin. A large, powerfully built man stood at the head of the table, the emblem of the nation of Stalm a huge mural on the wall behind him. His arms crossed and his eyes focused on nothing in particular, he wouldn't be particularly noticeable if it weren't for his obvious level of power. He stood a full foot taller than everyone else present, and his cold, steely eyes and the determined look on his face showed that he meant business.

After all the expected guests had arrived, the man cleared his throat roughly. Everyone's heads turned quickly towards the source of the voice. "I suppose you may be wondering why I've called the Ambassadors of the nations to Castle Stalm for this meeting."

A shout came from the back of the room. “Of course we do! Get on with it already!”

The large man’s eyes scanned the room for the offender, then he sighed and resumed his speech.

"If there are no more interruptions… Two groups known only as the Anzjiels and Dyviils have entered our midst. They have gained the ability to disguise themselves as Elemental Kin, and are inserting themselves into the affairs of Elemental Kin. Another matter is that they have been recruiting existing Elemental Kin into their ranks. We do not know what they are planning, but we have reason to suspect that it spells disaster for all Elemental Kind.” A joined gasp went over the crowd. Stunned chatter, then a metallic screeching called everyone’s attention back to the front. The large man rubbed his hands together, then continued. "Please. We must unite against this threat. It is only natural that you would be concerned. We must ask ourselves, however, who is here that we cannot recognize? Who is here that we recognize all too well? Who do we know that would be likely to join their side in a quest for power? There could be an Anzjiel or a Dyviil in the seat next to you." Someone fainted loudly, then the large man continued. "I am aware that Anjziels and Dyviils have already infiltrated this meeting, disguised as Elemental Kin." He pointed a large finger at someone at random, "You could be one. Or you," he then snapped his attention towards someone else, his eyes glinting as if they would stare straight through one's soul. "Or you. I do not recognize you. Are you an Anzjiel?" The large man sniffed the air, his senses able to catch the man's scent from his position. "No... Dyviil."

The accused man crossed his arms during the accusation, only to leap to the table, his facade as an ambassador from the Frost Kin fading to reveal a heavily tattooed Dyviil standing there. "Damn straight, you metallic bastard! And proud to be one!"

A ball of energy formed in the Dyviil's hands, a large dog leaping from the Metal Kin's side and taking the blast. The Dyviil kicked the dog out of the way and dashed towards the large Metal Kin, who barely had time to act as the Dyviil summoned a huge knife out of thin air. The Metal Kin launched huge metal spikes at the Dyviil, unable to make contact with the fast-moving interloper. The large Metal Kin finally gave in as the Dyviil approached, summoning the energy for a final spell. The Dyviil slashed through the Metal Kin's flesh, cutting through his heart. The Metal Kin fell to his knees, uttering a curse with his final breath.

The Dyviil spat on the corpse, kicking it. "That's just the first! You're all going to die!" He laughed maliciously, unaware of the energy materializing from the body. The Metal Kin's last spell had not been in vain. The Dyviil never saw the Spiked Shield coming.

Several Elemental Kin ran for the doors, only to find that they had been locked. Not only locked, but they were unaffected by magic. Nobody was getting in, or out, at least until the threat had been eliminated.

A shocked silence fell over the crowd, who had been watching the battle intensely, then saw that those who tried the door were unable to budge it. Who could they trust? Who would they turn to? Would they make it out of here alive? ...Was it worth joining the Dyviils or the Anzjiels?

Ramsus was killed by the Dyviils. He was the Metal Kin Narrator.
Penguinator was killed by Ramsus’ Spiked Shield. He was the Dyviil Narrator.

Day 1 has begun.
It will end in approximately 48 72 hours.
Roleplaying is heartily encouraged.

No-one stepped forward, the spiked shield had made a heck of a mess.
"Oh come one, someone do it. How about you FatTony? won't you give me a hand?"

(Voted Fat Tony 'cause he voted for someone who has been voted for already. Seems suspicious to me.)

I'm pretty sure voting for the narrator doesn't work. Especially when they die in the narration.
