last night i had a dream where Somehow Thunt snuck in the next update a fully-animated and voice-acted short film... i believe it had something to do with minmax living in an apartment.

Can't remember too much, but Minmax was able to remove Kin's coller without too much trouble aside from the occasional "don't touch me" freakout.

But it was animated and Minmax had a voice. it was pretty cool.

I'll go with trolling... I'd think that is obvious, given as this is OOTS-hosted forum, where even the strips that focus on completely mindless hack and slash violence still produce classic well written lines.

I could say that Kin is usually very verbose, and the total lack of speech, togheter with the visions of GS, should depict her momentary mental break.
But I'll take for good the "trolling" declaration...

    So... Multiclassing or gestalt?

Highly unlikely, I know, but we're not entirely clear on what ways the maze gives characters that survive it more power. Probably just a level up, but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility.

    I see two options:
    Spoiler
    Show
Multiclass to barbarian without telling anybody, or else he forgot that he did
The Armor has bonus-by-color, and Red=Rage

Both make an equal amount of sense.

Obviously, this is Minmax shedding his humanity and acting on instinct, as he believes the "monsters" he always fights are wont to do. This shows his sympathy for kin, who he once viewed as a "monster" and his willingness to see her as human by sharing her alleged barbarism.

    Or he's really, really angry.

Kin freezing up due to post-traumatic stress is not unlikely. And it doesn't solve any problem and is not an outside force. That's 0/3 on the Deus Ex Machina scale.

I don't think you understand what deus ex machina is, then.

I've read from several people on the Goblins forum who experienced what Kin went through who generally agreed that hugging and not letting go of a person you really trust is one possible way to react to flashbacks of this type. Like what she's doing now.

His armor is clearly the second cousin of Klik. You will see him mentioning something about how he wont let fathers mate be killed. Heh, yeah, im going with the one of two options, multiclassed to barbarian, or his armor has secret bonuses by color.

It's also possible that it's not Rage per se, but he's just really really angry - when people get normal-angry in Goblins their eyes blank out all shiny-style. More angry means more flashy eyes?
