It must be fun to actually be able to shoot people. What pound draw is safe? Also how far does it shoot at said draw weight?

35# at 28 inches.

Range depends largely on the quality of arrow construction. The one I'm shooting there is rather slipshod, but a well-made arrow can accurately fly a good 30-40 yards (more, if you turn yourself into a ballista).

And yes, the arrows have really good padding.
The best ones have a penny on the tip, followed by two layers of hard foam, followed by about 2 1/2 inches of soft foam.

It's more technical than that, and the best ones even more so, but that's the gist of what's between you and pokey doom.

Yeah it didn't come through. What browser are you using? If Firefox just click over the photo and drag it up into a new tab (a blue line should appear when you hover over the tab bar to signify that it will open the photo in a new tab). This will give you the URL for just the photo itself. Copy the web address bar into the photo link part of your post. Hope that wasn't too confusing.
