I know this is just fanboyism, but do you think Molly & Harry will hook up anytime soon? I know Harry & Murphy have the whole sexual tension thing, but Winter has all those alpha roll urges, add that to unresolved sexual tension between Harry & Molly...

But Lily wasn't DESTROY THE BALANCE crazy. Lily was IM KEEPING THE BALANCE stupid. The only crazy thing she did was go all nutso on harry but thats what Summer is supposed to do. Maeve had some Winter Lady elements but i think a good deal of her psychopathy was her personal insanity inspired

And I really really hope Molly and Harry don't hook up. Squick

I honestly cant see any Squick in a relationship between Harry and Molly. Actually, the only one i could see less issues with would be if he hocked up with his first girlfriend again.

You know how your non-icky age is your age divided by two plus 7? Let's see.

Molly was 17 in Proven Guilty, making her about 23 now.
Harry was 25 in the first book, making him about 38 now.
So Harry's "non creepy" range is 26. That's not that incredibly ick, really.
Plus, consider when Harry's 100 and Molly's 85. Murphy's right at the end of Cold Days when she points out that they will be alive and together a lot longer than she will, especially with them both tied to Winter.

I thought the UST between Harry and Murphy would guarantee a relationship, but there's been so much questioning of it in the last several books. I think a "Skin Game" with Molly is more likely.

Now how do we keep them from becoming a murderous lunatic and an insane, whiny homicidal crybaby? Harry is probably going to tell Molly all about her purpose, which will either drive her more crazy or prevent her from tossing responsibility to the wind.

I honestly think Molly's part in the story will take a very dark obsessive turn with Harry.

She is ruffly 23. Her once school girl crush on one of dads younger friends did not end. It was revealed to be a very deep attachment that she is outwardly concealing. She might have even shoved it a layer or two deep to distance herself from the pain of not getting him.

In Ghost Story one line revealed Molly's mental state more than any other. "I finally got you inside me Harry".

She is emotionally and physiologically scared from Harry's death, and from the fight in South America. All of which is on top of her original mind set of "fixing people" by altering their minds when she was a teenager. A mind set that I don't think she ever fully grew out of.

A part of her affinity with emotional, or mental magic causes her to be very sensitive to the emotional states of other people as well as her own.

Now Molly is the Lady of Winter. We already have a sneak peek at what winter is light from Harry. Cold, hungry, wanting, indulgent, and merciless. This will focus on Molly's obsession with Harry. She just became very dangerous.

Of the four biggest ships sailing up Elbe towards a certain city in Germany I've always favored Luccio then Molly, I figure eventually it will be Murphy, and never liked Susan much.

So despite the huge potential disaster I'm totally down with Knight and Lady, partially because you know its a just a nuke waiting to go off.

I'm not usually into shipping, but...

On Harry/Molly: I never really believed in it until Cold Days, as I still saw Molly as a teen with too much hormones and Harry as something of an uncle figure. I was also uncomfortable with the unequality of this pairing, what with Harry being the master. I hoped Molly would grow out of it and find someone else. I always was more into Harry/Murphy: ever since the first book, it seemed obvious to me that these two were meant to end up together eventually.

Cold Days changed my views greatly. The Harry/Murphy relationship grew more serious than ever, but Murphy outright stated at the end that she did not believe it would work, and y'know what, I think I believe her. Now, with Molly obviously more mature and the new Winter Lady, plus Mab's comments on the whole matter, I'm starting to believe in Harry/Molly.

I haven't given up all hope for Harry/Murphy though.
