I don't think you understand. I'm not criticizing Rob. Though as far as I understood it he doesn't get paid unless he updates on time.

Referers would be my guess, actually; the most sensical way I can think of for a reload-based passthrough like this to work would be that it sends you where you were going if you were referered from the same page (from the reload). If you're not allowing referers, well, it's not going to work.

I think the backer stories are hit or miss. Lord Crush was an amusing insight into how multi-sided alliances work in addition to showing us an actual fool as opposed to a caster playing at one. Digdoug was... slightly over my head. I had to go back a time or two to try and understand just what on Erf was going on there. Still can't say I know what it was all about aside from more caster politics, which I've had up to here with from the main story. Fawksull was just fantastic, I have no quibbles about how it played out as I'm a sucker for a good naval romp. The fish-out-of-water aspect was just icing on the cake. This latest story however? I could do without learning more about rhyming.

    TLDR Version of Digdoug

Carnymancy spells can break or bend the rules of Erfworld, however they may have unintended consequences.

Kinda underwhelming. I absolutely don't get what's so great about it. So far, that tower wouldn't different in combat than any other tower (minus some automation). Sure, as a wild experiment it's pretty rad, but...

"Unknown set of unique elemental powers" would be the best thing about it. Everything else is worth talking about simply because there is nothing else like it in Erfworld.

Well that and it opens up the possibility of self guarded cities.

I wonder if the tower is aware of everything / everyone inside the city,
so it can detect spies / scouts and maybe raise alerts ?
That would be a nice bonus

Also, (assuming Stanley invites his leaders/casters into his head-office)
    I would expect some morale-boost from that mood-analyser / advisor / bar

This is a good observation, but I suspect it's more a continued play on the phrase "head office".

I think that's a young Don, actually (Stout signamancy, similar facial hair, and the earring are the smoking guns). Which puts an interesting spin on what Caesar thinks of his and Bunny's relationship. And the Great Minds need a good hard whack upside the head. Unfortunately Parson can't do anything that would deplete Isaac's hit points, at the risk of diplomatic incident, so there's that.

Huh. Don doesn't have the earring or the goatee that Bunny's honey has in the picture. Or at least, he didn't during that test of Jillian's affinity for Noble-dom back in the Book 1 epilogue.

It's definitely possible considering the nature of Signamancy, but since Don became King shortly after popping and only left the capital for a tour once, I assumed he's always looked pretty pudgy. The bigger reason is that, in Bunny's epilogue poem, she frames *Caesar as the man that she loves, and she doesn't exactly comfort him in his moment of grief.

*Unless there's someone else Don could be cursing?

That presumes that Don knew about the relationship, and that Bunny wasn't instrumental in his son's coup failing. But yes, it could be Don's father considering his reputation.

Yeah, but this time it's literally about "Forgive a minor transgression so we can give Charlie a beating"... and the Great Minds simply can't let go. This isn't even tradition - this is simply being greedy and wanting everything.
