Obviously Sildyu was smart enough to know that getting 1 person to follow is an alright idea, getting an entire family line to follow you is an excellent idea

Re: Avatar Battle Royale - Discussion
Meh, was bored so I messed around with the sig. Should have my other avy finished by tonight also, just gotta make a comic about finding one of those magic costume change buttons.
edit- all right I think I have every detail on the avy fixed up, gonna take a shower and then start work on how exactly im gonna do that costume switch. Hitting a button seems so boring.
That on the left is just a sword I was messing around with. Kind of an epic weapon of sorts to find later or something. *shrugs*Last edited by Tiffanie Lirle; 2007-11-04 at 12:41 PM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale - Discussion
Well, Mechafox's latest submission ceratinly opens up some questions, I'm eagerly awaiting the next submission
Omicron, nice comic, though I can't say I'm a fan of the joke, the artwork is good enough for me

Re: Avatar Battle Royale - Discussion
Alright, take a gander at this
This picture shows BRC, Then Disguise mode BRC overlayed on normal BRC (so he can walk around without drawing eccesive attention to himself), then just Disguise Mode BRC.
Facing the other way is his nemesis, Financial Agent Adam Smith. Prepare for Matrix Jokes, I'll reveal Mister Smith's real form (Hint, He's a propoganda elemental), when I finis designing it.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale - Discussion
Thanks.
Not a fan of the comic either by the way
I got a joke, but I need some really stupid character in it (oh great... now I REGRET changing my avatar ).
EDIT: If someone is willing to make a stupid character to show up just right in our current position, I'm willing to use him/her/it/whatever it's going to be. And still taking those pictures for the trailer.Last edited by Omicroncubed; 2007-11-04 at 01:56 PM.

Well, its not supprising someone in oots looks like LIBM. The original is stolen from serveral oots characters. Thus odds are it'd happen sooner or later.
Thank Saturn for this avatar!

Hang about, now I not saying there anywhere near the same quality, story quality, depth or anywhere near the same, but has ABR's plot got more pages than oots
offical catalogger of all the reasons why single word spells should not take more than one page for the fanclub
"and now for something totaly different"

Re: Avatar Battle Royale - Discussion
No, actually Won is an Acronym for Wealth of Nations, which is how Adam Smith's An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations is often reffered. You Mixed up Acronym and Anagram there, and Acronym is when the letters in somthing stand for individual words, like FBI standing for the Federal Burea of Investigation. An Anagram is where the letters are switched around to form a new word, Like Army can be switched around to spell Mary, or One can be switched around to spell Neo.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale - Discussion
Heh, the character actually has nothing to do with the Odyssey, (or Kingdom Hearts, for that matter) but I felt the name was appropriate, considering where he resides.
Plus, it sounds really cool.Last edited by Fawkes; 2007-11-04 at 04:57 PM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale - Discussion
Oh. Dear.
Yes, he is creepy, and has, with that flourishing cloak, and subtly different speech patterns (Mechafox proper is more Edwardian, whereas Nobody sounds more Victorian), a tinge of Victoriana.
EDIT: I'm interested to know why Boomwolf removed his eyebrow and waved it around, though.Last edited by Illiterate Scribe; 2007-11-04 at 05:20 PM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale - Discussion
Rule Britannia, Britannia rule the waves...
EDIT: And Scribe, he eats it too!
EDIT2: Regarding Forestfire's latest, I'm still standing by my decision not to use the missiles, thereby obliterating the local population, which might still survive to some extent.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale - Discussion
oh yeah sorry, I kind of showed Salmonville, but I intentionally refrained from showing anything more then the top of one building, which could just be the exception in terms of local arcitecture.
EDIT: I just realized somthing intresting, even though BRC is a propoganda elemental that appeals on an emotional level, and Smith, since Wealth of Nations was an essay, would be a servant of Rationara (I think thats what I named that diety), in the end, Communism is more control, while Capitalism is less, so BRC is Lawful and Smith is Chaotic, even though it looks like they should be the other way around.Last edited by BRC; 2007-11-04 at 06:59 PM.

The eyebrow joke started when I was making the third panel. I accidentally moved it, and I was like, "Oh no, his eyebrow fell off.... omg, best idea ever."
