See, Fireworks isn't all bad.

When I first started useing it for aSoD, it took me the best part of two hours to make a strip.

Now it takes me 10-20 minutes.

Holy crap, you're on to something there!

For my family reunion, I brought my laptop (which has XP on it.), with all my comic stuff on it. It didn't crash once.

But on my regular laptop, which does have vista, it crashes like every 2 hours.

It's really slow, has a tendency to crash and I can't change fonts (which is bad because it's not defaulting to Comic Sans MS)

Text formatting also fails for me. No bold text. I have to settle for all caps.
edit: it's a bug with the latest version.

Gotta admit that's true. But it used to crash more often in the way that I could recover it, but first I have to find the file with the obscure name.

Seem like its a general problem, then it's no wonder that I barely could draw on my littlebrothers PC (with vista, ofcourse).
Do you have any tricks to avoid it or is the only right action to curse microsoft?

I've had no issues with it on Bio, my laptop with Vista. I make every Remember comic on it and have done since before the site launched.

I can't be bothered with it to be honest. I go away for 2 weeks tommorrow anyway. I just can't be bothered doing all my templates again and the two templates I have one don't look right at all.

Heh, luckily have trazoi's guide to incsape given me a spasmic ctrl+s move every 5 minutes or so (maybe got some help from an old game where we had the same problem).

Really slow hmmm? Two things;
1. Have you "killed" any of the unnecessary services that come with vista? (using services.msc)
2. How much RAM do you have?
