    Yes, that's giant stone hands. This comic can only be canon if his backstory is accepted is it? (to opsumise it: Was Damien's teacher in high school and his parents friend, promised his parents to watch over him, etc.)

    That guy is a Machinist Warden. Their armor draws power from the fortress-factory itself, so they don't need a soul engine built-in like most machinist armor, but they won't function more than half-mile away from the fortress-factory. Their claws can shoot off like a grapple gun to snare escaping prisoners.

    The other people who were captured are elsewhere in the fortress, held in similar conditions (Though Brain, and anybody else that showed that they can cast without moving their limbs, will be in some sort of special cell designed to stop that. Actually Brain is probably taken to the lab for the Machinist scientists to look at). They will each be held separately until the Grand Tyrant has decided what to do with them.
