We also had lots of multiple choice in High School. We did well on such things. Then we went to college and found that multiple choice tests simply make it harder to do the essay questions at the end.

Dunno; I go to an FE college so maybe it's different to a VIth form? I've no idea at all why we get the day off, we just do so we're happy.
On a less happy note: we're getting our reports this week. Well, told what grades we're going to get given when we get our paper reports at Christmas.

I'd recommend not using limewire if you don't need to(although technically nobody needs to use it), it causes all sorts of problems.

Haha! My parents haven't been to one of my parents evenings since I was in Y1! And no need to worry, you've only been in college/VIth firm for six weeks or so. Can't be telling you off already.

Now get back into shipping. Now. We have two rival companies now.

Now, aside from my fixation with Money Money Money by ABBA I still have my Love of My Life addiction. Maybe it's the fact that the audience sings along or the minor (?) guitar chords or just his voice; but it's the forty - third time in two days now.

Unfortunately, for people like myself that like obscure music, it's impossible to find it sold anywhere and I have to resort to the web.

Even more unfortunately, the web never has them either.

My flash players being dodgy and won't download the new one properly, anyway is Love of my Life from Montreal or one of the other concerts, because at Montreal they didn't know the lyrics and Freddie even calls them out on it. Anyway, it's a great song and the album version's just beautiful.

It's not the Montreal one; I know that for a fact, but he doesn't have The Moustache yet, so fairly late 70s or very early 80s. I've not got the album version though oddly.
And I still want Night At The Opera.

Ok. One time, when my dad was a lot younger, he and a bunch of his friends had been out bowling. There was an incident with seeing the least number of bounces the ball could make before it hit the pins. One, for the record. Suffice it to say, they had to leave the bowling alley.

Anyways, they had a bowling ball, and they decided to see if they could break it. Bowling balls being sturdy, they would need rather a lot of force. The sort of force gained by throwing it out the window of a moving car. So they all got in the car and drove down the road towards one of those concrete barrier things they put on corners to prevent your car from going off the road. The bowling ball was summarily chucked out the window. It must have hit a pebble or something, because.. well.. it missed. It went over the barricade, across a lawn, through some siding, some insulation, some drywall...

No-one was hurt, but the guy who lived there was not pleased.

v: don't you though? First time I heard it I thought to myself 'man, what does the inside of a bowling ball look like, anyways?'

^Such an urge to try to break a bowling ball right now, you have no idea. It doesn't help that most of the really good bridges are.... over traffic.
