Yup but they seem to use other religions stuff just so people easier fits their fait (heck the viking ritual of manhood is now used in Christianity when you're around my age, think it's called confirmation)

Yes, but the Norse Religion was around before Christianity, I believe.

They just didn't have vikings yet.

The terrible part is how much the Bible plagiarized. It pretty much stole everything from other cultures and religions, and yet it's the #1 best seller of all time... So sad that the others don't get credit for their work.

It might not be ALL plagiarized, but it's at least 90% other peoples' work.

Yeah, that was one of the more interesting aspects of Norse mythology.
As for the 'Viking' idea...yeah, and I found a good place for them to come from: Lockutas! The least-explored area!
And if that's not a good place, then it can be one of the islands nearby it.
