Re: Vote Up a Campaign Setting (3E/4E)
As much as I'd like to completely vote out the decadent and vile mankind, I'll settle for the lowest, then. 30%. Oh, and please don't make the humans the rulers of the other races or something like that, or that all the other races are variations of humans. Please, no fantasy racism.
Down with mankind! Their dominion shall end!

80% - I want the other races to feel special. If there's a whole city of half-djinn, they kinda aren't that rare anymore...

Re: Vote Up a Campaign Setting (3E/4E)
I think I'll vote for 40%. As much as I dislike humans as a race, the setting seems to be best suited to them being the most common. And it doesn't seem right for 2 out of every 5 people to be half-djinn...

Re: Vote Up a Campaign Setting (3E/4E)
I agree with Owrtho that Half-Djinn shouldn't account for such a huge percentage of the population. Thus, I vote for 50%. This makes every other person you meet non-human (or at least only partially human)

I want 50% human population... half-breeds in a half-human culture, possibly half of them being half-baked... *stops*

Never! It was us who dreamt up all those nonhuman beasts, and it's us who can destroy them! We shall destroy all who oppose our manifest destiny. Then we shall destroy all nonhumans anyway... Fascism FTW.

Re: Vote Up a Campaign Setting (3E/4E)
Might wanna think about having another vote, to vote on the prevalence of each race. Like, each person can vote for one race that they think should be more populous, then the totals for each determining their percent of non-humans.

Re: Vote Up a Campaign Setting (3E/4E)
But that isn't necessarily true. Just because a lot of people might want a given race, doesn't mean they want it to be common. I myself wanted the half-ghul more than any of the others, but I'd think they should be rather rare, while gnolls and lizardfolk which I wanted much less I think should be somewhat common.

Re: Vote Up a Campaign Setting (3E/4E)
Hmmm. Like many other voters, I want a large Human segment of the world, but I will still vote
30%
... because otherwise the truly nonhuman races, the Lizardfolk and Gnolls, will be ridiculously rare. I'm voting for 30% Human because then, at least, Lizardfolk will be up at 17% of the world.
Humans and part-humans will still be 74% of civilization. Hopefully the setting will encourage some kind of motivation for part-humans to act as human as possible. You can call me Draz.
