Anyone here know how to change inkscape settings so your gradients are vertical instead of horizontal?

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXXIV - "Go Go Power Lanterns!"
Yeah, I think so.
Also, Q isn't usually a bloodthristy maniac. That's the influence of the red lantern ring of rage. Most of the time he's just a jerk. An angry one, but most of the time his fights descend into cartoon violence or Q getting his ass whuped. Killing people in the manner he does in ABR Corps is usually beneath mainstream Q. And since Qooge is basically mainstream Q but in rich guy, Christmas-hater form, that should be easy to write.
If you ever still need more info on the Qs, I would recommend checking out the FFF comics they were in or, even easier, My Name Is Q.Last edited by Green-Shirt Q; 2010-12-23 at 11:39 PM.

Yeah, Redoing other people's hairstyles isn't that hard. Now, when you can't get original hairstyles the way you envision them in your head, that's when things get frustrating.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXXIV - "Go Go Power Lanterns!"
I hate hairstyles, but only when people make them overly complicated. That's mainly why I don't like to make templates for other people's characters. I try to make the hairstyles of my characters relatively simple, where as everybody else seems to have hair that goes everywhichway, smooth some areas and pointy other random areas, streaks of colour, and other complex, pointless designs.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXXIV - "Go Go Power Lanterns!"
Yeah, trying to draw your character's hair was a giant pain. Every different point of hair went in a different direction, I needed to closely look between your drawing of it and mine in order to get each of them exactly right.
I ended up giving up and just simplifying it, hoping you wouldn't notice. I'm usually pretty keen on the details, but I figured you wouldn't care.AVATAR BATTLE ROYALE!

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXXIV - "Go Go Power Lanterns!"
Yeah. The extra details didn't really matter all that much to me, as long as his hair looked spiked down and/or messy. Besides, if there was a serious difference, i didn't notice and i probably would've attributed it to the art style anyway.
Q was relatively simple, just the regular elf template with a dome with a spike on it. Maeter was a serious pain because of that part of her hair that's blue.Last edited by HalfTangible; 2010-12-24 at 12:37 PM.

*Hugs everybody*
Hi guys! You may remember me, or you may not. It's not like I've been around this place for years or anything >_>
So anyway, myriads of presents coming this way (We celebrate n Christmas Eve, it's wonderful!) and family stuff means Keveak is not doing much comicking.
So with no more fun and games:
Merry Christmas, Happy holidays, jolly yuletide, excellent extravaganza and wonderful wackiness to all!

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXXIV - "Go Go Power Lanterns!"
Friends! I am having trouble deciding what to update between ABR Corps and my two personal comics Smooth Moves and The Q's Comic Review. Maybe you guys can help me decide.
Is anybody else making an ABR Corps comic?
Funny. I was remember a time when I wanted toys for Christmas and a time when I would've HATED getting books, socks, and clothes. Now that's reversed.Last edited by Green-Shirt Q; 2010-12-27 at 10:47 PM.
