Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
A Cartesian dilema! How do I know reality is real? OH NOES!!!!! Also, I don't need to find a woman, because I'm a seminarian.
That I did, quite avidly in middle school before I came here as a high school freshman. I was even a paying member! Dragonprime arose out of watching The Chronicles of Riddick, where planets were numbered in each system, with the first planet always being [Planet Name] Prime. I combined that with "Dragon" because that was cool to my eleven year old mind, and thus this username arose. Several years later when I joined this place I just reused it.
Or celibate.
>_>
<_<
What?
It's actually a legitimate question. I'm in seminary studying to become a priest right now, and celibacy is part of that package, so me talking about having kids can seem kind of odd.Last edited by DraPrime; 2012-05-18 at 08:15 PM.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
Of all the various vows, celibacy has always been the one to confuse me the most, since it has no basis on historical or (I believe) written religious law.
But that is a non-topic, anyway.
Well, no the odd leap in logic is that he would never talk of having children again.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
Pretty cool game sale on Amazon right now. They're trying to hit Steam where it hurts: Steam codes for low prices in Game Downloads. Anyways, that's kind of cool, Alan Wake and Bioshock 2 (and Syndicate) are all pretty cheap.
Steam username is Triscuitable.
I got VAC banned in COD: Ghosts for using an FOV changer.
I try not to think of how sad that is.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
I guess one reason that I can give that wouldn't be in breach of forum rules would be that it's practical. If you have a very busy job it can be very expedient to be celibate. After all, there have been those such as Nikola Tesla who have willingly become celibate out of dedication to their work. He would have invented a whole lot less had he had to dedicate his time to raising a family. So that's kind of what I'm doing, giving up a certain joy because I wish to be more dedicated to what I do.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
I just know I'd be a terrible parent. Combine that with the fact I want neither children or a relationship, and you've got self-imposed celibacy without it being a requirement of my career.
I'm going to die so alone, and it'll be great!
Well... By alone, I mean live with relatives, but you know what I mean.
Edit: That picture is seriously awesome.
But alas, I live in a subtropical region where naturally occurring ice and snow are mere legends and stories you tell to children before they go to bed.Last edited by Elemental; 2012-05-18 at 10:34 PM.

No, your a cemetarian. Dragon cemetarian. Fine, screw it. Your dead meat.

Oh, if only my brother stayed at the cemetery for 8 years. He gave up and started working for politicians in Wisconsin. DON'T WORK FOR POLITICIANS IN WISCONSIN. STAY IN THE CEMETERY!
Oh Wadledo, how I have missed you. Don't know how you got so pale, you had a great tan in Crystal Shards. Ah well, wanna go catch fruit falling from the top of the screen?Last edited by Mutant Sheep; 2012-05-19 at 12:22 AM.

Ah yes, the Cemetarians, totally one of them. The funny thing is that this slip of the tongue happens a lot, so we joke that there's some enigmatic Cemetarian order that tends to graveyards which commonly get mixed up with us.
Hey, Pitch Black was actually a good movie with Riddick in it! Chronicles of Riddick on the other hand...yeah it wasn't very good. Even a much younger me knew that. It's just that I'd recently watched that movie, and it happened to pop into my head while thinking of a username.
Bah, I can be a flirtatious as I want.

Well being dead generally implies celibacy, short of some really unsettling circumstances.

Yes, the Cemetarian monks are actually quite devout. They don't do CHANTS, per say, but some really really insane metal scenes. And Thriller. (April's Fools though, tell us stories of the cemetery, dear Dragonprime. TELL US!)

Set out to start/finish my Analysis of Health Data essay; 7 hours of Diablo III and procrastination later, wait, I was supposed to do something.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
In response to the hype concerning Diablo III...
I have this feeling I'm going to end up preferring Diablo II.
Which reminds me... I need to level up that Paladin after I finish Dungeons Seige II... And that game of Medieval: Total War... (Stupid crusades... Just because I conquered Poland...)
And when I get my new computer working, I've got Medieval II: Total War to play and Crusader Kings II to purchase.
I have the next few months sorted.Mauve Shirt, Savannah, Gnomish Wanderer, Cuthalion and Smuchmuch get cookies for making me avatars. (::)

I'd play Diablo 3. I love the hell out of the Diablo games. Buuuut, the game being Always Online makes me unable to play it due to gigabyte limit where I live. So god job Blizzie.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
It's particularly annoying for me, because my computer just can't handle it, and my friend won't play Diablo I or II with me because they're "too old".
Though... To be fair... Diablo I crashed on me when I finished my first quest.
I wonder where my copy of Warcraft I got to...Mauve Shirt, Savannah, Gnomish Wanderer, Cuthalion and Smuchmuch get cookies for making me avatars. (::)

I use braces (also known as "curly brackets") to indicate sarcasm. If there are none present, I probably believe what I am saying; should it turn out to be inaccurate trivia, please tell me rather than trying to play along with an apparent joke I don't know I'm making.

My elementary school teacher use to play this all the time, that and Birdhouse in Your Soul. He also used to play the American Idiot album on field trips. In elementary school.
Man I miss that guy.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
Just started and also finished final essay for the school year, now I'm to move on to worrying about how I'm going to pass math's Final Exam next week when I have no idea how to do any/most of the math that will be on it. I'm hoping the curve will be, like, 100 points.
Also, feeling a lot better than I was earlier this week, during which time I had a conflict with someone which put a dour on the next few days after it. Also, I hope I'm not the only one who has felt like it's been Monday morning every hour of every day the past two weeks. One more week of school, come on Cobalt, it's not actually Monday anymore, just one more week...

Please Play This Song on the Radio, by NOFX, off of the album "White Trash Two Heebs And A Bean"
NOFX are pretty good, but I'm not crazy about them. Still would like to see them one day, ideally soon.
