Re: D&D Demotivators X: X Never marks the spot
Yeah, that's the CE one.
The TN one is the classic Universal Studios version with Boris Karloff.
The CN one is Young Frankensein.
The LE one is the DeNiro version I think. IIRC, it was a made-for-TV movie (or maybe an mini-series?).
I can't remember the name of the flick, but the LN one I think is from the movie of a couple of years ago set in modern time. At least I think it was set in modern times from the trailer; I never actually saw it.
Don't know what the others are from.Last edited by dps; 2017-01-29 at 10:36 PM.

Re: D&D Demotivators X: X Never marks the spot
The Anime is One punch man, check it out. (Or at least a best # "things" video on youtube.)
D2 Crusader? Through a stance and a cleric spell, using a small gaunlet (Might be tiny) rolls a 1d2 for damage. On ones, they get to re-roll. On twos, they keep the two and get to roll again. Thus, infinite damage.

Re: D&D Demotivators X: X Never marks the spot
It's 3.5, so hilariously broken things are pretty much the norm. Like most TO builds, the d2 Crusader is based on the unexpected interaction of two rules from different books. Specifically, the Aura of Chaos stance from Tome of Battle and the Imbue Healing feat from Complete Champion.
Aura of Chaos allows damage dice to explode (any damage dice that rolls its maximum result is rerolled and the new roll added to the total, repeating if the new roll is also the maximum).
Imbue Healing is a metamagic feat which adds a small domain-based buff to Conjuration (Healing) spells. When used by a caster with the Luck domain, it allows the subject to treat any die result of 1 as 2 when rolling for damage.
The build has a Crusader with the Aura of Chaos stance be healed by a character with the Imbue Healing feat and the Luck domain. They then attack with a weapon that deals d2 + X damage (typically a small gauntlet or similar).
The damage die will then either roll a 1 or a 2.
A) If 2, the damage is increased by 2 and the die is rerolled.
B) If 1, the die result is treated as if it were 2, GOTO A).
Thus, all possible results end with the damage being increased by two and the die being rerolled. Continue ad infinitum.Last edited by DCraw; 2017-01-30 at 05:13 AM.

Re: D&D Demotivators X: X Never marks the spot
I'm a little late to the party on this one, but that's actually Frankenstein Conquers The World, where my favorite kaiju Baragon (a gigantic, rotund dinosaur with burrowing powers and flamebreath; also the last of it's kind) is trounced by a scrawny Japanese teenager in rather ugly make-up. I am not a fan of that movie, for obvious reasons.
Where's what's-her-name, the chick with the pigtails?
Jirix: Tsukiko? She was here when the sewer team reported in...
Anyone seen her since?
Jirix: No.
No.
Demon Roaches: No. Nope.
Not since I brutally murdered her ten minutes ago, no.
