Re: Blowing up Erfworld
I didn't find this on the first page of this thread so:
Can you blow up the first panel of the first strip? I think I see something green in the middle and I want to know what that is...
Edit: Also page three panels 2 and 3; those ruins look pretty cool as does the little thing at the top of the mountain.
Awesome artwork man!!Last edited by Daemon; 2007-06-08 at 03:54 PM.

Re: Blowing up Erfworld
I'm assuming you mean Page 50... if so, I second both requests! I too loved the burning siege tower :D
Also, could I request Page 49, panels 9 and 10? I love 9 for the warlord's expression, and panel 10 just makes me want to put on some Wagner. In fact... *puts on Ride of the Valkyries and stares at that frame*If my avatar has a weird grey background, you need a new browser. Try Firefox

Re: Blowing up Erfworld
You (and Wagner) have got me convinced... Erfworld 49, panel 10 it is. Tadada ta ta, tadada ta ta...
And speaking of Valkyries: Erfworld 51, panel 8.

Re: Blowing up Erfworld
I couldn't find it in the thread, so I'd like to politely request Page 50, panel 2 (the one with Jillian and the gwiffons) please. Seeing her happy is a rare sight indeed.

I think your art is fine and that it doesn't need to be blown up.

Re: Blowing up Erfworld
Very nice. Thank you PCclips.
I don't suppose you could describe what the unit marks and colors mean too?
Tan is road. Light green is grassy plains? Dark, dark green is forest. Dark blue is water? Which leaves light blue and the medium green hexes. Also, we can assume from this that for "normal" hexes (not dense foliage type like the forrest which seems to have reduced the range to 1). Gives a view of 2 hexes for a unit in all directions?
What are the circles and flags for? Are the flags for indicating the start and finish of the column? Where is Ansom currently? You'd think he's have some special marker. Though this just be me not knowing what to look for. This is so cool. I am extremely excited now for the battle.
Also, now that I think of it... Pannel 4 on page 56. That looks like the map at the long angle, which might bring up something different (such as how long the column is).Last edited by tomaO2; 2007-06-20 at 01:08 AM.

Re: Blowing up Erfworld
Page 50 has some *great* panels. I'd request the whole page if it was feasible. =D
As it stands, my favorite is 50/7 (Dragon tail through the head is ridiculously awesome). 50/8 (Nom, nom!), 50/10 (Burning tower!) 50/2 (Peep? Peep?) and 50/5 (And you're girlfriend's a two) are the other great ones from that page.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but I'd love a blown up version of comic 62 panel 1. Jaws ftw.

Re: Blowing up Erfworld
Could I get the panel with Sizemore from Page 56?
I have a couple (de)-motivators I'd like to try.
Note to Maerak: No it's not for the quote you called Dibs on, though it would ge perfect for that too.Last edited by ChowGuy; 2007-07-14 at 08:37 PM.

Re: Blowing up Erfworld
The last panel of page 62 would be an outstanding desktop! Especially if "The Hunt" was left in.
*edit* Then again, so would panel 2!Last edited by cyberchihuahua; 2007-07-19 at 09:05 PM.

Requesting panel 2 of Page 62, of Ansom and Vinny flying through flaming hoops while the other dwagons get comically mobbed by suicidal bats.
The optimist says that it is the best of both worlds. The pestimist knows that it is so.

Re: Blowing up Erfworld
I'm so glad to have Nom Nom Nom, but the night sky in the sonnet series are really nice. Thanks for all of them.
I'd like to request Page 62, panel 8, because I think someone with more skill than I will make a great demotivator out of it. How about "When surrounded by dwagons, apply bbq sauce liberally as a courtesy."

Re: Blowing up Erfworld
First, I'll second the thanks, and give up on trying to wedge the word "third" into this sentence.
The line that occurs to me is "When you are up to your boop in dwagons, it is difficult to remember that your original objective was to take the city."
When you have a chance to do more blowups, I'd like to request 17/5 (Tron Wanda overhead view) and 24/8 (Wanda reacts to her "suprise treat").
