Re: Notebook Sketches
I couldn't think of any good colours, so I decided to use a colour scheme we all know and love.

Re: Notebook Sketches
Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry...*continues to say sorry for the next couple of minutes*
Sort of a haphazard week for me, I am working on drawings, unfortunately most of them have reduced me to tears. I do have a few but not enough to warrant an update...so yeah...
*runs and hides*
Also, I'm going to Anime Central today, so if you're in Rosemont, Illinois and a total geek, look me up. I'll be be the one with a naruto vest and gloves over regular clothes. I call it casual cosplay. Sadly, this means no new drawings until Monday at the earliest.
You should have shaded his face, gave him glowing eyes, cause according to 8-bit his face cause madness. Mine can't even inspire discomfort. Great job by the way, I love how you can make my drawings so bright and vibrant.

Re: Notebook Sketches
[nice]Have fun. [/nice]
Gah, Naruto?! I thought you were a good, sane person Vulion.
That freakish little runt is stupid along with the awful anime he exists in.

Re: Notebook Sketches
Tiffanie, what in our time together has indicated I am sane?
The anime wasn't so bad in the beginning, the theme's were nice...though later...let's not talk about that.
My personal favorites happen to be Escaflowne, Eureka Seven, FMA and Slayers.

Re: Notebook Sketches
Umm...wow...
Your stuff is good enough to drag me out of lurking in Arts and Crafts and actually post here...and that's saying something.
If I ever need an illustrator, I'll be looking you up.

Re: Notebook Sketches
What up, people?! I'm back from the con! Picked up a bunch of good stuff including a sword, a hat that looks like a cat (which I wore for practically the entire con after ditching my Naruto vest a few hours in), several manga and the entire second series of Record of the Lodoss War.
I am drawing even as I am writing this post so there might be an update as early as tonight. So keep those fingers crossed.
Thanks for all the kind words.

Re: Notebook Sketches
FINALLY!!! I have returned with new drawings! Sorry 'bout the delay, internet at my house seems to be very sick. Well enough about that, on with the drawings. Sorry Bayar, no Slayers fanart this time but perhaps in the future.
Our first drawing is a bust of a berserker while calm. The most annoying part about drawing him was that frickin' scar. I had to redraw it about foru times before it even began to feel right.
Spoiler
Now what's a berserker without his titular berseking?
Spoiler
One thing I hate about my drawings is that I can't draw the female form in a manner the doesn't make me carve the word hate into my arms. This is an attempt to practice. Madeline swimsuit edition.
Spoiler
This was just random, a sketch of Tiffanie.
Spoiler
An engineer's daughter, a character from something I'm writing.
Spoiler
A warrior woman and the reason Marcus, my bard from before, is adventuring.
Spoiler
Just a few instances of me and a hat possessed by the spirit of a cat demon.
Spoiler
Playing Mass Effect a lot lately, so I figured I'd do a drawing of my custom created character, Keith Shepard.
Spoiler
Shepard again, this time a fully-equipped Vanguard. The armor and the gun were both a bitch to draw. A fun bitch, but a bitch none the less.
Spoiler
Royce, my wizard again. New hairstyle.
Spoiler
Royce, a bit more relaxed.
Spoiler
Royce, full body.
Spoiler
This one started the other two drawings that you are about to see. I like to call them the Source series.
Spoiler
Nameless' source.
Spoiler
Igon's source.

Re: Notebook Sketches
THe girl is fine actually, but if you want to make her more femenin, try deepening the curve before her hips and make the arms a tad thinner.
Appart from that, I sill hate you.

Re: Notebook Sketches
Lots and lots of practice, I mean lots. I've been drawing by myself for nearly seventeen years. I've seen a lot of art, studied it, melded certain aspects of certain styles into my own style. Studied a lot of real images, right now I'm studying a lot of medieval European plate amours.
Guess the best way to described it is that I've worked at it really hard.
