Shouldn't they be in a zoo?
Or did they escape?

Re: Avatar Battle Royale-Discussion Thread XXII: Mutual agreement? What's that?
Just because they are a different species doesn't mean they are not considered freaks.
And if they are simply a regular species of elf that are albino, how would both of the fraternal twins be albino? That's a one-in-784,926 chance! I'm talking about science here! Probability! Mathmatics!

"There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics." Particularly when you make said statistics up.
Additionally, albinism is hereditary, so if a family member has the gene, it is more likely that a blood relative will possess it.
Why did you people think I did it all this time?

Come on baby, do you do more than dance?
I'm hot blooded, I'm hot blooded!
Still, provided you do actually have a temperature of 103°F, I hope you feel better soon.
And hopefully it's not a temperature of 103°C, 103K or 103°R. (217°F, -274°F and -356.67°F respectively)

Re: Avatar Battle Royale-Discussion Thread XXII: Mutual agreement? What's that?
Not at all. Albinism has been observed most frequently in cases where both parents have the carrier gene, but do not display overt albinism themselves (this is largely due to the low numbers of albinos in the world, it's unlikely for one to become romantically involved with another due to their scarcity).
Also, albinism has occurred in some cases where only a single parent has the gene.

Or one has the Albino gene, and the dominant non-albino gene, and they both happened to pass on the Albino gene to both children, just like any other recessive trait gets passed on.
Also, We have a world inhabited by fish that naturally hover, why are you making any deal at all about this?Last edited by BRC; 2009-06-20 at 02:27 PM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale-Discussion Thread XXII: Mutual agreement? What's that?
My thoughts were more "For such a long awaited final battle, it was pretty anticlimactic. 'Raargh *run-die*' just isn't that awesome."
Edit: To clarify, it wasn't like the Emporer in Starwar being heaved into a hole and incinerated. That was at the pinnacle of the moment, and we saw it building up the whole time and were totally waiting for it to happen.
No, this was like "Oh hey, a brief skirmish, some people died or were wounded, the shades get blinded and run into a portal they were aware of and get instantly dismantled in a matter of seconds after a huge dramatic build-up making it seem like it was a huge risk."Last edited by Darklord Bright; 2009-06-20 at 05:55 PM.
