How's this for an FI character?

Don Tony Rexini, loving father and husband, polite and sophisticated gentleman, legitimate businessman, and ruthless leader of the Rexini crime family:

He also happens to be a tyrannosaurus. Ten years ago, Tony suddenly disappeared. A month later, a dinosaur with his voice and signature mustache to show up, claiming to be the Don. Possessing the intimate knowledge of the operations of the Rexini family that only Tony would know as well as Tony's legendary charisma, the dinosaur was eventually accepted as being Tony Rexini.

No one knows how Tony became a tyrannosaurus. Some say that it was an experiment to remove his mind from his aging body into one healthy and strong. Others say that he is actually an alternate reality version of Tony Rexini, one that hails from a world where everyone is a dinosaur and somehow crossed into Avbaroy. Still others say that the dinosaur is not Tony Rexini, but one that ate Tony and somehow absorbed his memories. A small number of people believe that Tony was bitten a radioactive tyrannosaurus.

While the rumors may or may not be true, what is certainly real is that Tony's criminal empire remains one of the most powerful in Pericle Island, with his set of power in Blauport and his influence extending far and wide.

Hmm, I'm interested in the pirate plot. I vote for just some random pirate ship (or similar) (think Wind Waker) going off in search of adventure, maybe with the whole crew just randomly appearing in this world?

Hmmm... I need to find a way for Tony to get an F-14 at some point and make it plausible in the setting.

EDIT: What am I saying? He's a friggin' tyrannosaurus mobster. Plausibility was thrown out the window a long time ago.
EDIT2: The question comes on how to fit a tyrannosaurus into an F-14. Perhaps a whole new aircraft needs to be designed.

So, I've been watching some episodes of the new FMA anime and I realized that the FMA world is very close to how I think FI should be. Its around WWI tech (but strangely devoid of aircraft). Its got its share of monsters and people with supernatural abilities. Its dark, but can be very lighthearted at times.

I oppose this idea. While ITLAPD would seem to be the optimum time, it's still over 5 weeks away. By that time, the initial surge of enthusiasm may have died down, and I think it'd be best if we tried to avoid getting bogged down in "planning", like FI has done.

I'll enter too it sounds really fun But just because vikings are cool doesn't mean pirates aren't (I got a lot of respect for Blackbeard but not Harald Blåtand (that means Bluetooth by the way ))

Actually it wasn't the beard itself but those rope things from the cannons.

But that guy survived 10+ gunshots and several sword cuts before going down at his last breath, that is awesome.
