It is 2010 AD. You live in the Town of Skunthorpe. You're living a normal life, going to work, commuting back home, living the night life... it is such a beautiful place. Quiet, ordinary, and you are quite content.

You vaguely hear on the radio about the latest scare - Aliens from the Star System of Centurai! Absolute Codswallop. Who believes in that sort of thing nowadays?

I mean, such a warning is rubbish, isn't it? It's almost impossible for a place like, oh, here, to be targeted by aliens from outer space, isn't it?

...Isn't it?

Alien Invasion III - a WW game for 20 players

The Roles
Townsfolk(villager): Abduction fodder for the aliens. You just want to stay alive. Each day you can vote to lynch someone, to see if they're an alien. You win if you survive by the end and all the aliens are dead.
Area 51(masons): They've heard the aliens are coming. So they want to stop them. Logical really. All Area 51 members know each other, and have the same win conditions as the Townsfolk.
Agent Fox Mulder(seer): Secret Government Agent, he can identify aliens. He's good at his job. Each night, he can choose to spy on one person, to identify their role. He has a 90% chance of being correct. Same win conditions as Townsfolk.
Crazy Escapee(fool): Having escaped from the aliens, he thinks he can identify aliens. He's not so good at his job. Each night, he can choose to spy on one person, to identify their role. He has a 25% chance of being correct. Same win conditions as Townsfolk.
DJ (baner): He heard country music stops aliens. So he plays it outside someone's house each night. Each night, he can choose a person (including himself) to protect from attack by the aliens. Same win conditions as the Townsfolk.
Aliens (Wolves): Green blobby things. They want to destroy the world, starting with this town. Each night, they decide on someone to kill. The Aliens win if they reduce the villager population down to equal their amount.
Big Freakin' Alien (Devil): He's big. He's freakin' big. He also can see which villagers are which. He scries people. Each night, he can choose a person to scry. He has a 80% of being correct. He also chooses someone to kill each night. Same win conditions as the Aliens.

The Twist
Each day, you lynch someone. Each night, aliens abduct someone. HOWEVER: The narrator will not say who gets abducted, or if someone gets baned or even if the aliens forgot to send in an action. That is up to the players to decide. Aliens will not get told if an abduction is successful. So they have to work it out too.

Auto Lynching will be after 2 days of inactivity.

Sign ups start now, and will end Thursday 29th July. Then I will send out roles, and the game will begin Friday.

The maximum cap on players will be 20.

Narrators are Castaras and Lex-Kat.

Unless the rules have changed, you find out that someone was abducted and what their role was 2 days after the abduction (when they would normally be autolynched for inactivity). I'm in.

Incorrect. You don't find out the role for people who are abducted until the end of the game.

You do find out the role instantly for the people you lynch.

Lynched people are dead-dead and cannot post (unless it is meaningless ghost talk). Not everyone always keeps to this rule but life in WW would be even grander if everyone did
