I'm going to go ahead and say that if we accept that Levistus is deluded, that the events of Remember are non-canon in FFF:R, that the events of the past of FFF:R may well be totally different than that of Remember/FFF, that the cosmology of FFF:R's universe may be entirely different as well even if Levistus exists, and that under normal circumstances The Empire Strikes Back was a superior movie to A New Hope, I may change my vote.

Well, perhaps not the last condition, but the first few.

As it stands, my vote remains the same.

Lastly, I REALLY hate Shakespere, so that last reference in Kpenjerk's last comic makes me vote that THAT comic is non-canon instead.

Well, I'm going to go ahead and change myself to Aye, but with conditions apply. If Igon really doesnt know anything, and Levistus is more delusional about a past that didnt actually happen, then it would count as a Nay. Strip 2 made me join the Aye wagon.

I vote Nay, because otherwise this plot has failed and contrary to my early judgments, I think it can really work. I'm not saying I think it's alright for Lying to overplot the plot but I think it's worse to make a comic non-canon as even though Kp didn't specify it should be random that's definitely the impression I got.
And anyway after comic 2 it looks pretty good.

I don't see how the plot fails for holding up to its promise of not using a lot the major aspects of the original FFF beyond the basic premise...

I'm not voting, but I think you should do anything possible to prevend this as it makes it a lot less fun for everyone involved, slows down stuff and makes it less improvise-ive. I don't want to bring up old stuff again, but I think this is what killed SDSB.

I agree with what you're saying.

Wasn't the whole "Overplotting" thing another one of the things that FFF:R's pitch said it was going to avoid? Because it was one of the things that really made FFF less fun?

That doesn't mean the changes and complifications (is that a word???) of the plot are less real. You can ignore as much of the plot as you like, that doesn't make it less a part of the world/plot/setting/story.
