Re: Bibliography
But that isn't the wording used. While similar, the exact wording was, "... their powers weaken the further it is to a full moon." If you notice, it says the further to a full moon. This would mean the next full moon, rather than just the closest full moon (past or future), as your wording would possibly imply (or if from had been used). Then again, that may just be a mistake in typing, but unless Elagune says otherwise, I'll assume it is correct and go off the semantics.

Re: Bibliography
Just checked this out. Not finished yet, but mostly pleased with what I see. I can't say shounen manga is my faaaaavorite thing, and this has some elements common to that genre that kind of get on my nerves, but it advertises what it is so fair enough. The blue magic/mega man/whatever book is much cooler than I would have thought such a thing would be, and the aesthetic of the comic in general is neat, with a lot of cool character design. Mythical creatures as these sort of themed spellcasters is also a neat twist on the "Myths and monsters are real," story.
Will be pleased to follow along with this one.

This would have been a perfect time to put in a "Demon Summoning For Dummies" easter egg.

Re: Bibliography
But it wouldn't make much sense, because you would get gradualy stronger and at the full moon *Poof!* you are depowered, since technicaly full moon is just a very specific moment in time and not a lasting event.
It's not D&D, so there is no reason to split hair over specific wording (especially if it's not RAW) and the most sensible interpretation is that Lunar Pages' power is more or less proportional to the phase of the moon ("from or to full moon" instead of "to full moon").In a war it doesn't matter who's right, only who's left.

Re: Bibliography
So far it looks like Satomi is going to be my favourite character.
Also, while temptation would be fun she doesn't seem the type to act seductively for no reason (Kim is less of a stick-in-the-mud, though ) and it would be nice to see yet another codex of Elagune's creationTreasured Quotes

Re: Bibliography
...I wonder:
If the horns stick up farther than the top of his skull by the time the transformation is complete... life could get interesting for Raoul. People who are not awakened cannot see them. However, they are there. It could make low doorways kind of awkward. Especially if there is a good bit of obvious distance between the top of the horns and the top of his head.

D'aww, those wings are adorable...
What?
Anyway, is it just me or does the angel look a bit like Ben?
Last but not least, we need an angel character, perhaps Satomi?Treasured Quotes

Re: Bibliography
Some of them may have looked like humans with wings. Azrael... didn't.
In one of his forms, he has four faces and four thousand wings, and his whole body consists of eyes and tongues, the number of which corresponds to the number of people inhabiting the Earth. He will be the last to die, recording and erasing constantly in a large book the names of men at birth and death, respectively.Last edited by Prime32; 2010-06-30 at 06:14 AM.

Re: Bibliography
Hey, there were other kinds of angels which were giant flaming wheels - people stopped paying attention to the actual descriptions after a while for some reason. See cherubs in particular, which were supposed to be horrifying for mortals to look upon.

Re: Bibliography
I know, I know. I'm usually the one correcting people. I've heard of the Ophanim, of the Cherubim, and the Seraphim. I've heard of their descriptions. Some descriptions (Specially in a certain religion found about fourteen hundred years ago in the mid-east) don't even give you that, a description. Just that they're frightening to look upon, and make Cthulhu look cute.

Re: Bibliography
Wow, if a 14-century-old book makes reference to Cthulhu, I'm really impressed.
