I'm curious as to who "that Russian lady" is.

Fun fact - The original phrase was in French, although he put it in Latin in some of his later work. It means basically the same in all three languages, although some understanding of the context helps to avoid misinterpretation. It's about existence of consciousness, not life per se.

That might be harder to get than you think, I'm notoriously good at not getting caught on film (and I'm not even camera-shy). I just went through all our pictures from our Danish-German holiday this summer (~450 pictures), and there were 2 pictures where I was close up, turned to the camera and not blurry. One of the pictures included a bit too much of the rest of my family for me to feel comfortable posting here, and I barely recognised myself in the other.

I'll check a few other albums when I get home from school.

In the right combination, it has the potential to be something quite good. You do know what satay sauce is made with, right?

I've made a peanut butter and bacon sandwich before.

Basically, I wanted a meat sandwich but couldn't find any meat, so I was like "oh well, let's toast the bread and make a toasted peanut butter and jelly sandwich." So I toasted the bread and put the peanut butter on, when I realized that we had some bacon left from the night before. So I had a toasted peanut butter and bacon sandwich. It was AWESOME. I would recommend it.

Edit: actually, the quote in my Sig is in response to the other time I brought up this sandwich on the forum...

Silkies are the lapdog of the chicken family. My uncle has a bunch of 'em.

Truly, the magnificence of this chicken could not be captured in a single photo. Alas.

After last year, I thought that this year would be relatively straightforward. It seems that it is, but it turns out that that doesn't mean it's any less work, just that the work is less challenging. And that we get extra work to make up for the lack of challenge. And that completion of this work counts towards your attendance record (90% minimum requirement to pass).

And the course is nearly twice as expensive *bangs head on desk*
