Exactly - you should have voted for Murska. Obviously your failure to do this marks you as a wolf.

Re: Grave Robbers from Outer Space - game thread
Zaragon's post identifying "us villagers" as "you all" seems to seperate himself from the herd. More than a little suspicious, I say.
I don't see him on my safe list, either. Something to look into.

Re: Grave Robbers from Outer Space - game thread
Night 4 ends
Pirate Monk meandered around the set, stumbling slightly as he looked at the assorted props littered about. All this mayhem happening around him and caused him to start drinking… heavily.
His vision was rather blurry, making it difficult to focus. And he needed to be careful whenever he was on the set. If he was smart, he’d not spend the night on the set, but he’d almost been late the other day. And the director didn’t seem the type to forgive tardiness. He expected perfection.
Tripping over a book that the director had thrown at his actors the day before when they’d been unable to achieve the right feel for the fight scene they’d been filming. What that “feel” had been was anyone’s guess.
Pushing the book out of his way, Pirate Monk continued to search for someplace to sleep.
Aha! That looksh pretty comfor’able, if a little morbid.
He walked over to the coffin, plumped the pillow, and climbed in. Without a second thought, Pirate Monk rolled over and closed his eyes.
Something fell over with a bang, but Pirate Monk ignored it. This set had more strange noises and creepy feelings than any other he’d ever been on. Nothing to get worked up about.
A few moments later, the coffin lid slammed shut. Pirate Monk, worried now, immediately pushed up on the lid. It didn’t budge. Something must have fallen on top, holding it shut.
Someone was bound to come along and open it in the morning.
Scene 5 starts
The director brushed his hands together. It had taken all morning, but they’d finally cleared the set of clutter. That old coffin left over from his last film had been sent to the incinerator, infested with mold as it had been.
He could see his actors gathering. Strangely, the crowd seemed to be getting smaller. Odd.
Come along now; we don’t have all day, you know. We’re behind schedule as it is.
Matthew walked up to the director.
Sir, the new prop has been delivered. The electric chair is over there.
The director clapped his hands gleefully. Just in time. We need that today. Mephisto, that needs to be moved over here, front and center.
Sir, did you just call me…
What?
Never mind.
The director waved off the comment and continued where he left off. He pointed at TwoBitWriter. You! You’re a fanatic home decorator.
And you are … a Disney villain. He pointed at Coplantor.
Lamech caught his attention as well. And we need a game show host. You! Perfect.
And you’ve been air-dropped into the middle of a dense forest.
Pirate Monk was killed; he was the Town Drunk.

Marian dances throught the dense forest. I'm a little tea pot, short and stout. Here is my handle, here is my spout.
She stops. Banjo. Watch this. She jumps and spins in the air three times. Pretty impressive, huh?

Re: Grave Robbers from Outer Space - game thread
Hmmm... this is an alpha game. Why would someone have picked philistine?
Philistine is a newbie yeah? If I was an alpha, I'm not sure I'd pick someone new. There is a fairly large risk that a new person could be autolynched. And it's not even like you avoid suspicion, since people tend to lynch new people before established players even in alpha games.
And since I don't think his actions are massively suspicious, I don't think he warrants pointing at right now.Avatar by Simius

K, me done now...
Oooo, I know why a newbie would be picked! Just because of people like you saying, Oh, he's new, no way he'd be an alpha pick. Iss true, Iss true, I no iss true!Last edited by Allysian; 2008-11-09 at 09:04 AM.

Re: Grave Robbers from Outer Space - game thread
Really I would pick a newbie or two because people are often "don't lynch the newbie", and besides its not like analysts can say look at him he is doing such a horrible wolf hunting job, he must be a wolf. Plus, they probably wouldn't be scried... anyway I'll update my records and then vote.
P.S. I probably shouldn't say stuff like this, its going to give wolves ideas, and/or get me framed and/or caught in some later game.

Re: Grave Robbers from Outer Space - game thread
I was picked by the Alpha my first game ever, that's no defense. If an Alpha only picks experienced players, they're almost certainly doomed because experienced players are scryed
and lynchedmore often, while a newbie can slip under the radar and still be around to give night kills.

Re: Grave Robbers from Outer Space - game thread
I'm going to withdraw my argument then. I personally wouldn't pick new players if I was an alpha, because I would be scared of them autolynching or of them being more at risk for lynching because of being new, but the fact that multiple people have said that they would pick new players in an alpha game, means that there is a real possibility that any new player could have been picked.
I'm also going to point at Philistine because I would prefer Banjo to live.Avatar by Simius
