Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
Well, it was in one of my comics. I made it to advance the plot, but Threeshades advanced it differently with the next comic. Dunno if it was archived. We can declare it non-canon.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
No joke. Future Imperfect is the sequel of FFF I (which I still think we should have a name for but everyone's ignoring me, as usual. What? No, no, I'm not bitter. ). There was a lot of arguing about it. Now, we're pretty much reduced to doing easy art about FI instead of actually doing FFF I comics. My personal recommendation is to join SDSB, and maybe join FI as well when it comes out. Don't bother joining FFF I, it'll be over soon and despite what you may have heard, it does not give you prestige to be in the Final Fight. Heck, that's the most common option. And the most nonsensical, since only Salmon and Leroy can kill the BBEGs. Not that anybody listens to me about that.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
What I seriously don't get is how these characters almost readily alter their design platforms between iterations. I realise that retraining is a possibility, but Jauce goes from a level 27 Paladin/Bard/Illusionist to being a level 38 Bard.
When there's a progression of the character, generally it doesn't involve completely redesigning said character.

In FI, Anyone Can Die. Or at least, that's the feel we're going for.
You may just lose an arm, a leg, an eye or two, or just a few internal organs.
On an unrelated note, the UNA has a brilliant Health Plan.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
Not really, for example, nobody has tried asking me what class levels Ven has, or the AC of a solider detta. Some people make their characters with DnD in mind, others don't. I think what happened is CA presented his character as DnD based, Thus eliciting a swarm of "UR DOIN IT WRONG!"

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
I don't ahere to DnD rules, I just find convenient ways to explain what I do within them for those that do. For instance, Bright's gauntlets. I wanted him to use magic, but figured someone would cry foul if he did so while wearing full plate armour, so instead I explained it away with "A wizard did it."
It's just convenient, not a restriction. Besides, this is a forum for a DnD based comic, it's not like this wasn't inevitable. :P
