Krgg struts back into the open area of the intersection of tunnels, quite pleased with himself. That settles that! HA! Did the cowards all flee?

Granted - (1d2)[1] Krgg moves to the square below Bleerie and takes a standard action to chortle.

"Zaavariel found some down his tunnel. Perhaps they went that way."

Bleerie looks around the tunnels, searching for anything out of place. Noru the cave troll then casts a spell on itself. The party sees Zaavariel charge down a tunnel, then hears the sound of metal hitting something. Krgg walks back into the area where most of the party currently resides. Then Bailey disappears.

You don’t see anything new or suspicious. But you do notice that what Zaavariel charged at was a formian warrior. And you see that Bailey is now behind that warrior, and just unleashed a barrage of attacks on it, killing it.

You catch the warrior off guard and severely wound it as it spits out blood from its mouth. You see Bailey appear behind the warrior, and unleash a barrage of attacks on it, finishing it off. After the warrior is dead you notice more formian in this room, there is a myrmarch to your left, one in front of you, another behind and to the left of that one in the opposite corner of the room. And there is a tunnel on your right, about 5 ft. up, and another tunnel at the opposite end of the room as well.

The room is 35 ft. long and 20 ft. wide.

Gale heads down the tunnel that Zaavariel went down, and if she sees a formian, she will attack with a blast of energy.

[Allyzedl]

Gale flies into the tunnel after Zaavariel, then stops, hovering above him. She then fires a blast at the myrmarch to her left, hits, bounces to the one in front of her, hits, then bounces to the one behind that and hits it as well.

Krgg slowly moves towards the tunnel where Zaavariel and Gale went. Bleerie and Noru follow the others as the push Krgg out of the way. Then Krgg catches up with the with the party.

Zaavariel takes a step back and prepares a defense against any incoming attacks.

Zipxap follows the group down the tunnel.

Bailey disappears and reappears next to the myrmarch in the back of the area, then strikes the myrmarch and it disappears.

The myrmarch in the top of the room attacks Krgg, misses with its stinger, but manages to bite the orc. The warrior steps forward and attacks Noru the cave troll, but misses the troll with its multiple attacks. The myrmarch in front of Zaavariel takes a step forward then attacks him, but swings blindly as it misses the elf.

In your heads you hear a loud, female voice yelling, “You insist on killing my children! You will all pay with your lives!” Then a multicolored wall appears next to Bleerie, blocking the tunnel next to her.

Krgg takes 9 damage.

Noru, Gale, and Zaavariel are able to tell that the multicolored wall is a Prismatic Wall. Unfortunately, that is the extent of Zaavariels knowledge. However, Gale and Noru know what spells are required and in what order to destroy a Prismatic Wall. The three also know how dangerous a Prismatic Wall is when attempting to pass through it.

If someone tries to pass through it, roll the following in order:

Krgg attacks the myrmarch in front of him, striking it. Gale shoots a eldritch chain at the top formian hitting it, bouncing, hitting the myrmarch in the middle, then bounces and misses the warrior. Zaavariel swings his sword recklessly at the myrmarch in front of him, hitting it twice, but misses as he tries to bite it. Noru the cave troll then claws at the top myrmarch, hitting it once. The troll then bites and rakes the warrior until it dies at which point he spits out the crunched up warrior in pieces.

Bleerie takes a defensive stance. Zipxap then spews a cone of acid at the prismatic wall, but nothing happens as the acid hits the wall. Bailey steps up to the myrmarch in front of him, and barrages the formian with attacks with his swords. The myrmarch the drops to the ground dead.

The standing myrmarch the attacks Krgg with everything that it has. Hitting the orc with its stinger, then missing as it tries to bite him. Krgg feels a little weak after the stinger hits him, but he still seems to be able to act and move normally.

The party then sees another prismatic wall appear at the far end of the room, where the other tunnel out of the room was at.

Krgg's voice resounds throughout the cavern, What makes you think you can stop me plucking the legs off these ants one by one? His blade takes on the black after-glow that's been seen from time to time as he rips the cutting surface across the Formian's leg.

"Zipzap, you probably want to get out of the doorway, before a third prismatic wall blocks your access to the room. I can teleport us past the prismatic walls. Who wants to go on the first trip? I can take 3. Also, did the ants have anything useful?"

Gale casts detect magic, and studies the ants.

As Gale studies the ants while casting detect magic, she doesn't detect anything magical on the ants.

"Perhaps we should actually scout ahead for once before committing to a course of action."

Noru wanders over to the wall adjacent to the prismatic wall that first appeared and vanishes.

move, 10' teleport to the other side, summons a dove , sends the dove off scouting down the corridors ahead.

Watching Noru disappear, "We need information and we need to act fast, lest we are trapped."

Krgg the Patient Guy

Krgg squats down on his haunches and begins thumping the ground with the tip of his blade. Why can't they just come to us and get it over with? YOU'RE GOING TO DIE ANYWAY BUGS! He shouts the last bit, his voice ringing off the walls.

Noru teleports past the wall, to find himself in a room with several formian, 2 myrmarch, 1 warrior, and 1 taskmaster. The taskmaster begins to cast a spell on Noru, however he is able to resist its effects. One of the myrmarch is standing right next to the troll, the other myrmarch and the warrior move in to attack Noru.
The myrmarch that started next to you attacks you as it tries to sting and bite at you. Its stinger hit the cave troll, but misses as it tries to bite him. Then the other myrmarch attacks you with its stinger, also missing Noru. Then the warrior attacks but also misses.

The dove he summons isn’t noticed right away, as the formian are distracted by the cave troll.

Tharione, I’m going to let you control your dove since there are multiple ways it can go. Its first choice is to go through a tunnel straight in front of you, or to your left.

Noru takes 11 damage, but feels fine.

As Noru teleports behind the myrmarch, the myrmarch then disappears, as does the other myrmarch in the room. The warrior stands confused as to where the cave troll went, the taskmaster then runs through the west tunnel into the next room.

Before Noru gets a chance to scope out the room he hears a voice in his head, “Pitiful man, you really think that I can’t find you?”

As you look into the next room you see a myrmarch running into the room emitting light. As well as a taskmaster in front of you, another myrmarch in the corner of the room, and something moving just around the corner.

Your dove encounters a small, very dark room with a warrior and a myrmarch in it, then sees a javelin heading straight at it right before your connection to the dove is lost. The white spaces in the room where the dove died are tunnels that it saw.

"Bailey, why? We know that they are blocking the way through these side tunnels, but the range of Prismatic Wall is not very high, so the queen must be nearby, and we can bypass the wall. Besides, Noru seems to be scouting the other side. If he comes back, we will learn more."

Bailey responds to Gale, "It was just a thought. And indeed, if Noru comes back..."

"If not, however, we could either attempt a rescue, or leave. I would be in favor of attempting a rescue, however. Abandoning your companions is never a good idea."

As she talks to Bailey, Gale is watching the Prismatic Wall.

"The thought never once occurred to me Milady, although Vincent had a running wager you wouldn't. I warned him not to bet against the house."

He moves to the wall and abrupt jaunts back into the room of the party.

Noru troll appears once more among the rest of the party, standing in his usual 'impeccably well mannered butler' pose.

"Well, I've located the queen. She's heavily guarded, but that was to be expected. Luckily shes overconfident. Unluckily, shes likely a spell caster of power far greater than any among us."

He shrugs.

"Submitted for the groups consideration... Also, Miss Gale, what precisely is the range of your teleportation, if you don't mind me asking?"
