So, this is something I've been meaning to mention for a while. (There are a lot of things I've been meaning to mention for a while, actually. Maybe sometime soon I'll get around to typing them all up! But for now, this.)
Did anyone else notice how Gamzee doesn't get actual dialogue with Jane until Tavrisprite shows up? His conversation with her is described, but we aren't given the exact words, as often seen in the Midnight Crew intermission, for example.
That's because direct face-to-face dialogue is a special ability of sprites and god tier players!
Now, this doesn't necessarily mean that Gamzee isn't god tier. It means that Hussie very deliberately decided not to show us that he definitely is. Draw from that what conclusions you will.

Or maybe he hadn't climbed high enough on the God Tier ladder.

Oh, I quite agree, except for the "Or".
Why would Hussie decide that Gamzee reached godhood but never leveled up after that? I say: Because that way Gamzee doesn't have the Gift of Gab, and thus we don't know that he's god tier.
There could theoretically be a different basis for that decision, but I doubt it.

I think the best part of the Flash was the part where english unhinged his jaw.
It showed just how much power was held inside of him.
It made me chuckle. The big scary villain becomes all the goofier (design kinda goofy to begin with) with that little detail.
A variant of that attack, which honestly is better animated than what Hussie made. (Of course a full flash animation at this level of work would take far too long to make, and would be huge bandwidth-wise.)

They were in a flash game for most of that, so he could speak to her anyway.

It's the part between the flash game and Tavrisprite that's interesting. Dialogue is obviously happening, but we aren't seeing what is actually being said as we can when other God Tiers are talking.

If only god tier players can have conversations, then what about Terazi, Karkat, Dirk, Jake and the pre-scratch trolls? They clearly were talking in person at different points in time and it wasn't only to anyone with the Gift of Gab.

I think people are taking the "the main characters have never actually been in the same room to talk face to face before" joke a little too seriously.

If memory serves, dream bubbles have a similar property to flash games.

Karkat among others was quite eloquent, when they were gathering near the Green Sun - neither a dream bubble nor a flash game. His infameous crayon battle and cape-struggle with Dave did not happen in a dream bubble as well, although by that time Dave did have the Gift of Gab.

Dave and Rose levelled up and obtained the Gift of Gab just a few panels before they started talking in a dialoglog. The Gift allows both the player, and anyone they're talking to, to converse in such a manner.

I know I'm not the best reader of this comic ever, but man. This page hit me when I was reading it again. "Your death will be your single greatest achievement. Your 'friends' will be happy." It's so completely true.

Thanks to araveugnitsuga for my current Poke-atar.
After some archive binging this stuck out to me, Fenestrated Walls perhaps? Especially with Roxy's constant use of them
Pretty much. Fenestrated walls as a means of transportation originated in Problem Sleuth, where paired electric windows worked like portals and could be unplugged to summon demons.
I had a weird thought, does Troll Marriage exist? Are there trolls saying,"I really don't like you. Will you be my kissmesis, forever?"
That's more-or-less what having someone in a particular quadrant at all means, unless there's quadrant vacillation going on, as I understood it. Troll relationships serve partially to stabilise society, so breaking up with someone is probably rarer (at least among adults) than in humans. In their adolescence, before they're expected to be filling pails, it's probably not nearly so permanent - as has been seen in-comic - but if adult trolls were changing through anything other than pre-planned flips it would have an effect on far more than just their own relationships. In a violent, angry race whose preventative measure for massive in-fighting just collapsed, that would be catastrophic.

While you wait, maybe take a look at Prequel's latest dream sequence? Make sure JavaScript is allowed and look at the wizardry in the latest page. (It technically started on the previous, though.)
The webcomic had been mentioned in a previous MSPA thread IIRC. It was hosted on the MSPA forum at the time, but it has moved to its own webspace and it is starting to experiment away from just copying Hussie's formulas.
