Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
Well, that IS impressive. It's not the "Holy Cats!", smexy to the point of holding the page up with one hand, stunning look I'd have expected from the Foglios, but as a suit of armor it's definitely a wow. I can see why Mamma got rattled.
But with those short legs, how fast can it go? The size would prevent it from going inside buildings or through most doors and gates. And what offensive capacity does it have, beyond the lightning stick and the axe? This might work as a tank, but I'm not sure it will do as Agatha's new look...
I note this is the first time Agatha and Tarvek have met since he was kidnapped by Othar and Sanaa and she lost track of him.

Also: Tarvek is learning. That was the best possible answer he could have given Agatha. What you do when a Heterodyne in power armor appears? Whatever she wants.

Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
I think he actually meant that he doesn't consider himself essential to Agatha's safety. Yes, he's a smoke knight spark with a doctorate in court intrigue, but Agatha's now in a place of power with minions to spare and a sense of belonging she'd never displayed before. I don't think he considers himself anything more than a useful tool in these circumstances, despite both Agatha and Gil apparently believing him to be essential.
Spoiler: My inventory:
1 Sentient Sword
1 Jammy Dodger (I was promised tea)
1 Godwin Point.

Depends on whether the next frame is going to be a parody of the one Agatha got with Gil and instead of melting into Tarvek's arms, she's wide eyed and instinctively reaching for the nearest blunt implement.
I notice the strap on her overalls got repaired though, so no more imaginary bouncing going on...

I'm with Sentinel on this one. Gil gave her fire. Tarvek gave her lightning. They provide not only amusement, but a powerful complimentary set of skills, talents and resources. She has GOT to keep both of these guys. It would be a shame to waste a perfectly good seralgio.
Besides, it's about time polyamory had a good love-story and who could deliver it better than the professors?

Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
Eh no. I think this is more Tarvek being grateful+Hormonal than any variety of "Moves" on his part. He's far too schemey for that.
That said, I still support the plan where Gil and Tarvek both die and get rebuilt into the frankenboyfriend.
Edit: Or Lars comes back somehow, and Agatha dumps them both like a balance arm.Last edited by BRC; 2012-07-13 at 09:31 AM.

Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
Yay, Tarvek!
What's the kiss score now? Is Tarvek one ahead because of the kiss Agatha gave him when he was sick with Hogfarb's Resplendent Immolation (and as a result, caught it from him)?

Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
Don't forget, Gil also gets about a gazillion "OMG, You Saved My Parents!!!" kisses.
Oh, the counterpoint is that Tarvek's gotten all the best huggin' so far...from first suggesting she "lean on" him, to the desperately abortive hug that Lu interrupted, to the truly sweet one after Agatha was "mean" to him.Last edited by Stalkingheron; 2012-07-13 at 10:10 AM.

Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
I had indeed forgotten those. Not sure they'd count in the romantic category, though.
Edit: to clarify and belabor the point: if Zeetha was the one that had heroically saved her parents from a monster, I'm sure she would've received similar amount of kisses. They are a show of gratitude.
Of course, that does bring into question how much the post-hive queen count. Can I get a link to the kisses? I'm at work, and can't search for it myself.

Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
I can't believe there was an argument about who saved Tarvek. It was clearly going to be Agatha. She was due for a reappearance, and was in the area.
It's definitely been the longest stretch in the comic with little Agatha. Since January 11, she's only been in maybe a dozen strips! I think it speaks well for the comic that it can still be entertaining and compelling even with the title character mostly absent.

I dont like the looks of this kiss, I am fully expecting a "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" reaction from agatha after she shoves him off. Im not saying it cant work out in the end, im just saying that for right now she will likely freak out.
