Re: WW Central VII: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
How did I miss you on the list?
Because I like you, and you recently returned from Limbo.
I missed Zar Peter, Mordokai, Cristo Meyers. Who else did I miss?
Shadow and RabbitHoleLost are very picky about which games they join anymore.
And Happyturtle, I believe, and Banjo1985 have both declared themselves retired from playing.
I'm only amazing, if it works. I'm less so, if it doesn't.

Alright, folks, Shape-shifters has been submitted for approval. I will probably need a co-narrator to help me keep track of votes; it's going to get crazy!
I'm sending out a general call for Co-Narrators! I am a first time Narrator so I'm sure I'm getting in way over my head and not realizing it.

Re: WW Central VII: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Not at home but here are the basics:
Sides are revealed. Roles are not, even on death.
There are 3 sides.
Town 60% (Kill all wolves)
Wolves 30% (Equal or outnumber the non-wolves)
Outsider 10% (Kill all the seers and fools)
Townies, Wolves, and Outsiders all vote for lynch in the day. Wolves and Outsiders each get a kill at night.
The town gets a seer, 2 fools, a baner, a beast, a soldier, and a rogue.
The werewolves get a seer, a fool, a beast, a wizard, and a soldier.
The outsiders are split even wizard and rogue (add soldier if more than 3).
Soldiers kill whoever scry on them.
Wizards are unlynchable
Rogues cannot be night killed.
When they die, beasts kill one person who voted for them on lynch or night kill.Gitp's No. 1 Cake hater

I Miss You Guys.
Hi All, just popping in for a quick update.
To those who don't know - I've had vision trouble due to diabetic retinopathy.
My eyes, or rather, right eye has gone through some lazer corrections and is in the process of healing. Until it's better, looking at the boards is troublesome. Right now, everything it looks at is cloudy. Left eye is fine, but becomes strained if I stare at a PC too long. I'm not sure how long the healing will take or when I'll be back. Rest assured though - I'LL BE BACK!
That being said, I want of offer up any of my games to anyone who wants to run them.
Ye Olde West - I'll give access to the spreadsheet for any new narrator that wants to try this, so they know who had money carry over from previous games.
Llama Llama Duck
Kingdom Hearts
Titans
Before I go - a quick thank you to Diva De for handling the end of the last iteration of Titans.
Thank you to everyone who has sent kind words. I shall "see" you all later.

Re: I Miss You Guys.
The unlynchable wolf sounds like trouble. Then again, everyone knows who the wolves are right? So, that might work out....hmm.
Also, good luck with your eye supagoof.

Re: WW Central VII: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
See that's my problem. I want it where the town can't just kill wolves willy nilly without thought. So I thought if I made an unlynchable as a speed bump the remaining wolves can off a few extra townies.
Also the outsiders have their own night kill which will target the town at first. I want the town and wolves to want to try to kill the outsiders. By having half the outsiders unlynchable and the others unnightkillable, this will waste more days.
I could also change the unkillable wolf into a day baner.Gitp's No. 1 Cake hater

have several Day-Baners, or maybe items if you are only looking for a delay.
Basically, some shield-like items that give protection from the lynch.

Allowing villagers to negate that in specific circumstances, slowing killing down?

Re: WW Central VII: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Agreed. The whole purpose of a werewolf game is the connected minority against the unconnected majority. It's going to be really, really hard to run a werewolf game where everyone knows nearly everything.
I can potentially see this type of thing working if the wolves had lots of vortexers, so they couldn't be flat-out smashed. Maybe every wolf picks a vortex target on day 1, and if that person dies they can change their vortex to someone else.
Or various cruel powers activate if a certain wolf is killed while a certain other wolf is alive (for added fear factor, make it resurrect all the wolves), or hidden recruitments, or multiple wolf factions that win if the other one(s) is/are wiped out regardless of the village numbers. It's not enough to slow the village down, you need to make them hesitate.

Re: WW Central VII: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
You know, factions might be a good idea. There could be two village factions and two wolf ones. Each wolf faction must equal their numbers as the respective village faction, while the village must kill all wolves of their faction. This way, even if they know who the wolves are, they still don't know the faction. Just a crazy idea I had, I didn't put much tought into it, so there should be a lot of problems.
Edit: There would also be only one winner.Last edited by Gray Mage; 2011-01-04 at 06:51 PM.

Re: WW Central VII: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
See in regular werewolf, the werewolves' defence is stealth. Each day the town accidently kills their own, a wolf gets to live. Now the town won't accidental kill their own, so the wolves need something to make up for the misses.
So I added an extra faction. But it's an alternative win faction. Maybe a true second wolf faction would work.
Ressurect all wolves as a role, that's nasty. Maybe if something really bad for town happens if they don't scry a certian wolf before kiling him.Gitp's No. 1 Cake hater

Re: WW Central VII: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
If you do make a Wolf a Day-Baner, make sure to make him a Careless Day-Baner, so he can't Bane himself. Otherwise, he may as well be unkillable.

things have been more crazy than expected, and Vampire has suffered for it in the form of dragging day and night phases and the occasional narration skip.
However, I'm pretty sure I'm caught up with everything that needed catching up on and it's running again. Here
